I'm from a timeline where refridgator is a thing
  • The word Doppelganger had a doppelganger in another timeline which made ame confused
  • @NeroPecore
Cece is a german, of course she knows best how Doppelganger is spelled
  • @KyoryuDiabolos
Must be the universe where it’s the Berenstein bears too
  • @EkatariZeen
You could say she just heard the word in movement (☞゚ヮ゚)☞
  • @RuuisuMori
Maybe she was thinking of the Doppler effect

With both the American and British version of a word being correct (theater vs theatre), both should count unless they say "American spelling only".
  • @Mackeriv
These puppets are hilarious. And there is only one other Internet personality that speaks about timelines as often as Ame does.
  • @petit.croissant
i have a feeling she confused it with doppler effect or something
  • @BenjaminSteber
When Ame gets creative she makes another legendary stream.
  • @MagicalDanny
Just like how there's a timeline where parmesan is pronounced parmese-ian
  • You know when someone learn American english or British english judging by how they spell/pronounce Seattle, doppelganger and Worcestershire.
  • @WakoDoodle
tbh to a Doppelganger the word Doppelganger is spelt Doppleganger but only because all Doppelgangers are from a mirror world where although words are seen backwards; they can read backwards too... except that word. Which means this Ame is a Doppelganger!
  • @xmixaplix
...then where is the Ame from our timeline?
  • @parazygone9567
I think what she's talking about is the Mandela effect. It's when our brain fills in the gaps of information stored in our memories. Like if LooneyTunes was spelled with "Toons" or "Tunes" or if Pikachu's tail had a black or brown marking at the root or tip. In a more superstitious/supernatural POV, you could think of it as the world branching towards a different timeline over a decision that was made a long time ago

Imagine you give the German girl a German word, and you tell her she spelled it wrong
  • @azeor9685
Doppelgänger is the only way to spell from what little German i know but my guess would be a partial translation of the word thrned it into double+ganger and then back to the german (with the mistake) doppleganger.
  • @Skywolfhd20
the real trick is asking the judges if they want the german spelling
