I would have loved if these 3 lost levels were included in the main game! I feel like they were necessary. The sewer scene and Joel's face are excellently spooky.

In high school, my media arts teacher had us make a presentation of our favorite musical artist. I chose Gustavo because his music for The Last of Us is beautiful, and he also has some beautiful instrumentals outside of the game. My teacher said my presentation was his favorite because he could tell I was very passionate about it and put a lot of work into it. Seeing Gustavo as a playable guitarist is so neat, and reminded me of that moment.

That would have been a better remaster if they had just finished of those last levels and then added it to the final game, like a "Director's full vision cut" as they didn't seem that drawn out but made the game seem more impact full.

I love how the first lost level has only text but I can perfectly imagine Ellie’s voice there saying all that. Ashley’s voice is just living rent free in my head 🙈

They need to do a prequel with Joel and his brother showing what they did after the daughter was killed

Honestly that scene with Joel was great. There should’ve been moments like that throughout the entire game not just the farm scene tbh. Would’ve really showed her shattering psyche more. Also in that initial trailer she’s talking to Joel after he died. Would’ve been great if he was guiding her throughout even as a hallucination

The boar hunt was amazing, that's the one I wish they'd kept. It connects thematically with the narrative so well, it would also subtly introduce the idea of sparing Abby. I actually felt for the boar

I LOVE these unfinished sections. I have always been the type of person where if a project is unfinished, or maybe a show didn’t get its last season, I’ve always wanted the authors to tell us what their plan was. It’s so infuriating because I would be totally okay with just reading an unfinished script or, in this case, playing an unfinished level. I think this is so cool and I would love to see more stuff like this for all kinds of future or current projects, not just from Naughty Dog.

I’m glad there is Dualsense feedback as well as a bespoke PS5 version. Going through TLOU1 and having the triggers fight against me was something I loved… then going to TLOU2 and it not was so disappointing! Going to do another play through of this one :)
