EDMONTON OILERS: Elimination Awaits

yes, it has to be Pickard next game. We all like Skinner, but he is no where near the same level as Bobrovsky. But Oilers didn't get a top goalie, so we have no choice. I thought it would be Pickard this game, but they believe in Skinner. Which is baffling as they sit there watching one of the best goalies of all time making save after save. What the f*ck else do they need to know? Get a top stanley cup goalie. It is painful watching this team be the best they have ever been and only missing that goalie.....

Top line needs to be broken up, it gets nothing done. Maybe put 71 or 55 on it to give it a different look and move some depth down, not saying this is a great idea but they need a completely different look. Maybe start Picks? Also, how has Broberg been our 3rd or 4th best D man. (Could honestly argue 2nd)

Nurse and skinner better not be on the team next year if we are serious about a cup. Maybe even Bouchard. We rather have less offensive and money and just plugs that can defend than offence and no defence

The Oilers looked like an amateur team playing against a professional team. I’m so sad and disappointed the Drai McDavid are nonexistent

Sorry I have missed the last week or so. Work has been insane. Storms here in Texas. Man I know you and Oiler Nation are hurting right now. Given the history it would absolutely Epic if there was to be a reverse sweep, similar to what Cleveland almost pulled off against Hershey. I dont see it. But I can see the Oil getting a win in Game 4. But they have to play like they did against the Stars to close us out. If not sadly Hockey will be done for us all sooner than expected. Big guns couldn’t show up for a third straight game. Got goals from Foegel, Broberg and McLeod all the depth scoring you need but yet again Connor and Leon couldn’t be the ones to show. 0-9 on PP. Oil are probably up 2-1 if they did. On the positive Leon almost guaranteed to resign.

Game 4 looks like Game 1 except the puck is going IN by close margins, not away from the goal line!! Ahhh

I was unable to watch this game. My medical treatments are on Monday's and Thursday's and it wrecks me. I'm going stricktly by stats. The base stats are pretty much a wash. Slight advantages to Oilers in some categories, slight to Florida in others. By the looks of things other than 2 assists for Connor the big boys didn't show up (Draisaitl, Nuge, Bouchard, Hyman) on the score line. Depth (McLeod, Broberg, Foegele) did show up. Weird but whatever. Oilers now MUST win 4 in a row to take the cup and are facing elimination. Take care all.
