  • I really want Rai to get that gold medal! I'll be rooting for him!
  • Man! Raj is a SMART dude. He's born for public speaking. Loved his answers on these questions!
  • @brad.kearns
great interview. Rai is the most thoughtful athlete and best interview out there!
  • This is why I love Raj. All his responses to questions were insightful, authentic and forward thinking. Cares about his fellow athletes and the sport. ❤❤
  • This was a great interview. Thought provoking questions and insightful answers.

Every answer that Benjamin gave was insightful, thoughtful, and measured. It annoys me when anyone is so siloed in their surrounding work environment that they cannot intelligently discuss it. Benjamin is very aware of the track ecosystem, but he doesn't seem to be overconfident and arrogant about it. A great interview!

Rai is by far my favourite US athlete. Incredibly talented, hard working, honest, humble, insightful and articulate.

As with Caitlin Clark, the main reasons to take Quincy is that his ability is proven, as Rai says, but also you are giving a future star a look at the big show and an opportunity to over-achieve in the big show. He’s shown the mental ability to handle big events. Let him go to Paris and see what it’s like. My father, a great coach, used to say you take an athlete to a championship and the first time they see the stadium they wonder how many bales of hay you could get in there (we were a farming community). The second time he’s there to compete. Get him a first time now—upside is phenomenal.

Want the Netflix doc about men's and women's 400mH
  • Benjamin - You are awesome!!! Presumed you'll be USA Captain; thank you for your intelligent answers. All the best with your family and years of continue success in whatever chooses.
  • @Rey-Nolds
Rai support of Quincy Wilson is spot on...we need Quincy to let other young boys know that B-Ball, and Football ain't the only option.
  • @macharlem
Yeah the kid needs to be on the team, clearly he is a fan favorite ❤️. Let’s not pull Caitlin Clark here and let’s have some fun. Maybe let him lead off and see what happens, think about 🤔 if he drops a 43point 🥇. People will tone in for that!
  • I agree completely with Rai about the Ultimate world championships. Rather than competing for one’s country (and having a limit on how many athletes can represent that country), the UWC should simply have the best athletes in the world representing themselves or their sponsors. It doesn’t need to be something that competes with or replaces the world championships, but if it could settle into its own niche it could become something that we look forward to watching between the years.
