  • I very much appreciate Mazda's driver-centered focus on their vehicles. But, like so many other companies, it frustrates me how the top trim only comes as a 6-seater and the 2nd row center console is non-removable. Comfortable for adults, sure, but much less practical for many families.
  • I have never seen a person who can fit in the third row.

Rough shifting can be a good thing, you dont want slippage between gears, which is what a soft shift is. The Mazda 6 speed is perfect. Inline 6 is brilliant, but we dont want a hybrid...
  • I love everything about it, plus the savings of approximately $15k USD vs an Acura MDX Type S 👍🏻😁
  • How many miles on the review model?...Owners' comments elsewhere claim the transmission smooths out as the car breaks in and is very nice...my 2006 Avalon touring model had a transmission shifting issue until break-in as well...this is common with new transmissions (especially dual clutch) prior to break-in and could be explained to be fair. Ride quality: not mentioned is the CX90's superior resistance to porpoising (front end up and down rising and dipping inherent in front wheel drive cars with overhang and resulting massive weight over the front axel) - the cx-90 remains level due to the engine and transmission behind the front axle...and, is much SAFER in emergency handling...

The jerky transmission is a big bummer :-( starting to hear this consistently from reviews

I would not buy this top trim. In the US, the Signature is called the Turbo S Premium Plus. I would buy the Turbo Premium Plus. It has most of the options/ packages of the S, but the with only 280hp. I think it’s a better value, and it’s more in line with “Mazda” money. I would like to see Mazda offer this vehicle with the red interior that’s offered in the Kuro trim (Carbon Edition in the US).
