A big thanks to the awesome crew at the Gravity Discovery Centre in Gingin for letting us use their 45m leaning tower for our own experiments. If you wanna head out there and check it out, it's not far from Perth. Western Australia: gravitycentre.com.au/leaning-tower/

We are passionate about seeing children released from poverty and we would love you to consider sponsoring a child with Compassion. We visited our sponsor children in the Philippines and were blown away by the difference that child sponsorship can make. "Can flex tape stop an atlas stone?" That would be a good vid 👍
  • @mktj1
Props to editor Jack for his phenomenal work as always!

"What's so special about the center of the earth that it pulls the boats together?" -Scott Gaunson 2021
  • I really appreciate that the HR editors both included the kinematics formula for max height as well as used proper significant digits. Well done, everyone.
  • @8-bitnightshade
Actually so happy they have someone doing the actual physics to calculate how high it bounced
  • “First time I started dropping things was accounting in Year 12. Dropped that like a hot scone”. Gaunson What an amazing quote :_44ClubScott::_44ClubScott:😂😂❤️❤️
  • @atlas.general
they need to do some merch with "well that's not in one piece anymore" on it
  • @dakotadad8835
The montage of things falling and bouncing “WOAH!! OHHH!! OHHH!! OHHHH!! WOAHH! OHHH!! OH! WOAH! OH!!”
  • @eclipsedmoon87
In conclusion, human error is a requirement for greatness on this channel

9:50 - "First time I started dropping things was accounting in year 12, dropped that like a hot scone. Gained a study period too, it was absolutely monumental" 😂
  • @TarHole
Gaunson- “at least we haven’t lost the lemon” Next throw: yellow ball pops
  • @love2sky473
I JUST REALISED THAT I SAW YOU GUYS AT A KFC NEAR ME A WHILE AGO.
  • Should probably tape over the bowling ball holes. They are probably causing the ball to shift when wind passing over the holes.
  • Man, that was some top notch security measures taken for the balls not to hit the building... I'm shocked how that happened 🤔🤔🤔
  • put rifling in that drop tube and I bet you'll get more predictable drift
  • Maybe you take the rim of a trampoline and make the bouncy part flex tape instead and just see how strong flex tape really is by dropping increasingly heavier objects onto it!
  • Flex tape? ... First thing that comes to mind is to completely cover a car in it with as many layers as possible and then bombs away with the whole arsenal and see how it holds up. XD
  • Omg. That moment he goes awe as it hits the building then suddenly it all goes quiet. Lmfao.
  • @tomthumb1322
I thought Rexy would really like this episode but apparently he is still on the fence about it. :D
