I was born in Corpus Christi. My dad loved to take us to Panjo’s Pizza Parlor. You made me quite nostalgic.

Great episode, I'm glad you avoided the ghost in the Lexington. Corpus looks like an amazing place. I love the Ocean 😊

I noticed this was recorded in 2013. It would be awesome if you could come back and do another show soon.
  • I lived here for 10 years, visited every summer growing up. I love Corpus Christi. This made me so sad, I need to come back!
  • How do you go to Corpus Christi and miss out on the best aquarium in Texas? It ain’t called the Texas State Aquarium for nothing πŸ™ˆ

Ok..I understand going to Whataburger. It's a Corpus Christi company. But a snow cone shop? A pizza joint? And NOT a SEAFOOD RESTAURANT??!! WTH?? Who books this show? I can't imagine going to Corpus and NOT eating fresh seafood..I went there last October and went to Pompanos Restaurant, Harrison's Landing, and Snoopy's Restaurant. All were even better than their reviews πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Loved Panjo's every single weekend. Also, knew Pat McGee...

Bubba from Panjos and Rocco from the Lexington are no longer with us. Two that are missed.

Great video. Prayers for Sofia and R.I.P. Bubba.
  • I've never regretted moving from Los Angeles to Corpus Christi. Great place for fishing, Mexican food, and beaches. It does get hot here, but it's about as close to perfect as you can get

I ain’t gonna lie, Whattaburger goes hard. And I didn’t know Sonny and the Sunliners came from Corpus. That song they sing β€œshould I take you home” is a classic in the Chicano culture back home in Los Angeles.
