Putting myself in Lady Sabre's situation here because I've been there. It started as she didn't want to hurt his feelings and turned into fear of retaliation if she ever told him to get lost considering how quick he goes from 0 to 100 when she just asked him not to be so loud. Not to mention just tried to manipulate her into giving him a ride. The fact she said something about her size compared to his at the very beginning makes it seem like that even more.

Dude if someone bothers my sleep, like this bloody Sam did, he's gonna get yelled at and blocked. The patience this lady has wow

The Sir Samwell arc was just amazing. From the witty responses "lady sabre" is able to produce, to the narrator's believable neckbeard impression. Cant forget the way lady sabre was able to convey the levels of cringe. If she hasn't made a book about it she definitely should. Could possibly bring light to how uncomfortable some people make others feel.

For those of you, who didn't know why Lady Sabre was so suspicious of Sam right from the beginning (you might've thought that he was just trying to be nice): some guys are just creeps and as a girl you sometimes just feel that & listening to that feeling keeps you safe. However she's still relatively nice to him, A) because that's just how we're raised - to be nice - and B) because with those creeps it often gets worse when you reject them. I've had my fair share of creeps already. There's this particular guy who was in my class. He had an obvious interest in me and tried to convince me to date him (even though I never made a secret of the fact that I'm a lesbian) and he made it OBVIOUS. He always joined in on my conversations (without even knowing the topic), gave me jewelery for Christmas, asked me out repeatedly. He was constantly bragging about expensive things that he owned (his parents are kinda rich) and he started to become touchy. He'd always try to touch my hair & even though I repeatedly told him to stop, he insisted that he was just teasing me. He also occasionally tried to touch my butt. Since that time, to this day you should not touch me from behind or your face might catch an elbow.

After just listening to this, even I was feeling serious secondhand creepiness. I feel so bad for Lady Sabre. If she ever reads this comment, I'm so sorry you had to deal with that, and I hope you put a restraining order on that pile of pizza dough. Guys like that, just never stop and never take no for an answer (seriously, call the police before it's too late, and Sam really takes it too far. No one deserves to be treated like that.)

This is just psychological horror for the girl. The time he basically tries to force her to get him a ride with her, or when he gets her the sabre as a present so that she feels guilty if she "rejects him".

I love that Sir Samwell's voice sounds like a mixture of a few family guy characters.

hey AITJ, loved the stories you post. just wanted to let you know that the main reason why she didnt tell him off for the longest time is because its a culture thing. many people from western Europe (spain, gemany, czech, sweden, belgium, etc.) are very polite when they interact with foreigners, especially when in a foreign land to them.

Been listening to this while I'm at work because I thought it sounded interesting and I was honestly rooting for lady Sabre and John I'm glad they officially got together

Lady Sabre does a remarkable job at writing this story and you narrate so well.

Some guys, especially creepy neck beards, just need to be told straight: F*ck off and don't talk to me again! You're under no obligation to not hurt their feelings.

I died laughing at "took the cake, the plate, and the whole dining table." As someone who likes food especially desserts, I just imagined someone eating all of that just made me laugh idk why.

OP sounds like someone who has a lot of trouble handling conflict. She may have been scared by Sam. I understand why she didn't stop him earlier, even though it looks bad.

I would pay for a Lady Sabre's comic telling the Whole Ser Samwell's saga.

Lady saber is 16 and trying to get guys to back off at that age and speaking up is kinda difficult to an extent cause most adults to teenage girls don’t take what they say seriously. Plus I think she felt a bit threatened by him to an extent because of the fact some guys are a bit like him to a certain point.

I can understand how people would say "just shut him up and block him." As an adult with life experience, it can be a bit easier to cut contact with toxic individuals, but as a younger kid or teenager it can be difficult. I've had my fair share of schoolmates who creeped me out, and to be honest I probably rubbed some others the wrong way too. I hope I never came off as cringe as sir neck beard, but I didn't try to be cool or liked. All I wanted to do was play my guitar and have fun. Funny enough I wanted to buy a fedora, but my friends stopped me. This was before the Neck beard meme, but I still thank my buds to this day for saving me from that horrible fate haha.
