The United Nations has warned that its humanitarian operations inside Gaza are nearing collapse. The organization says it is no longer able to distribute food aid in the southern city of Rafah due to a lack of supplies and fears over the safety of its staff. It says that UNRWA, its main aid agency for Palestinian refugees, as well as the World Food Program, are unable to access their warehouses in Rafah due to Israel's ongoing military operation. UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric presented a bleak account of the situation on the ground, saying UN staff are “not sticking around to see who’s doing the firing.” Furthermore, the UN says northern Gaza is experiencing a “full-blown famine,” while the entire Gaza Strip is facing unprecedented levels of hunger.
Earlier in May, Israel launched a military operation into Rafah, a city that had housed over a million refugees, vowing to root out remaining Hamas fighters. COGAT, the Israeli military office which oversees Palestinian civilian affairs, has reported that 900,000 Palestinians have fled Rafah.

What about the conditiion of the hostages?
  • @alontrigger
Conveniently, no one mentions that Egypt is blocking its side of the border.
  • @charwest9449
Talk about the hostages. We've heard enough about this.
  • @appletree6741
Why did Hamas start this war, it’s a tragedy for both sides and wholly unnecessary
  • @arunkdlr
"We just want the war to end", then why not ask Hamas to release the hostages and surrender?
  • @KevinArdala01
If Hamas gives back the hostages and surrenders this will end. Using human shields is despicable.

RAFAH ITSELF IS ON THE VERGE OF COLLAPSE. IN THE WORDS OF FAMOUS CANADIAN ROCKERS BTO: YOU AIN’T SEEN NOTHING YET.
  • @charwest9449
There are at least 50 vehicle sized tunnels from Egypt to Rafah. Try carrying aid in them instead of weapons !! Hypocrites!!
  • @user-ii5ke9pc1q
It has been more than 250days and people have been able to fast. Right?
  • @mrkornabbio
War is difficult. Stop educating your children to hate and believe in resistance. It’s her own fault she’s thirsty!
  • @charwest9449
That's because the people have all been evacuated from Rafah.
  • They were told over and over to leave yet they settle in with terrorists embedded with their children 😞 shame of the Palestinians as a whole. Denounce hamas.
  • Where are the goods in the markets taken from? Who profits from it?
  • @adamredwine774
The irony of Gazans calling on OTHER people to end the war is incredibly rich. That guy on the beach has more power to end the war than does Germany. Why is he not marching in the streets protesting Hamas?
  • @user-ul4wy2lx2m
If Hamas did not seek war everyone would be alive today . They attacked and their people suffered 😢
