Ronstadt had the most glorious unadorned pipes in the Universe. A rare combination of power and tenderness. Linda never swam in her own reflection and let her bandmates and songwriters shine. This tribute is lovely and heartfelt - just makes you miss Ronstadt's singing - rockin' or crooning even more.

Brandi Carlile is one of thee most phenomenal artists in today's music scene. What a tribute to Linda (who absolutely hands down owns this song). I also love the fabulous rendition by Ruby Leigh. These younger folks who are recognizing a legend like Linda deserve some serious kudos. Along with the magnificent string section!! Well done!!👏👏👏

Ms. Ronstadt turned 78 on July 4th, 2024. The breadth of her musical catalog has taken us through every stage of our lives. Her voice just hits the sweet spot every time. Enjoyed Brandi's version.

Long Long Time is the most beautiful song Linda Ronstadt recorded and Brandi did the song and Linda proud in my opinion. That always brings tears to my eyes. I hope that Brandi puts it on cd!

Brandi and Sister Strings are absolutely shining with their rendition of this song. Linda Ronstadt had such a pure voice of unusual depth that she could sing anything. Brandi can also do this but with a bit of growl, much like Emmylou Harris. Both are so pleasing to the ears. Thank you for posting this.
