Meanwhile, I still haven't hung up my kitchen lamp that I bought three months ago. You guys are MACHINES. Mad respect.
  • @seonmokim
The most amazing thing is this couple did not break up after this 2 years of hard work.

I'm going into 2 years renovating my home that was built in 1900 and this old girl is wearing me out, but I've gotten SO MUCH done. Still have a long ways to go. Only real headache, finding great contractors. You two have done an amazing job! HATS OFF!

I love how they both kept dancing throughout the entire project almost. 2 years compressed into 25 minutes and the logistics of this rebuild is....just wow. I love people who do their own dirty work and hard yards. Phenomenal effort people. And I hope the love still flows....❤💛
  • This is the most psychically, mentally and financially exhausting project I have ever seen a couple take on. The level of respect to vision and commitment knows no bounds. I'm just awe struck.

The fact they knew how to do all this!! Very impressive!! 👏👏👏👏
  • Impressive video. I started a bit late (graduated from my doctorate program at age 30 in 2016 with 170k in school loan debt). Managed to pay off my debt by 2019 and currently have a house and 250k total in investments (combo of profit share, 401k and a brokerage account). I'm not very knowledgeable in investing, so I just have my investing currently in index funds mainly voo, but have been putting a lot into schd the past few months. I dunno if that's the optimal strategy, but psychologically it is very set it and forget it, and prevents me from obsessing over individual stock performance.
  • J'ai suivi votre chantier de loin en loin depuis deux ans... Bravo pour le travail accompli dans ce délai !
  • @MrJamesSantiago
This almost gives me the motivation to fix my bedroom door. Soon... soon...

I’ve watched many of these types of videos and this one rates as one of the best!!! I loved the dance interludes. I can’t wait to see the finished product!!!!! What a great job. ♥️

j'ai été bouche-bée tout du long de ce time lapse !!! incroyable. Un rêve d'avoir ces connaissances en rénovation.
  • Incredible. I am retired from this after 40 years as a carpenter, home builder and commercial and concrete contractor. You even used some methods I wasn't familiar with, but I appreciate and know the incredible long hours this takes. I know there is a burnout stage when you never seem you are making progress and then it all begins to take shape and you get your second and third wind. Congratulations on your hard work, you will always be able to take care of your family! I became a pastor in the middle of it all and never took a salary because I could do this. You guys are amazing. Blessings on you!

I cannot imagine the discipline and hardwork required for two years, I would have given up in just months or maybe days if it's me, ur amazinggg guys!
  • This is gorgeous! And makes me wish I had made videos like this when my partner and I turned a barn into a passive solar home twenty years ago! The one thing I have learned with every renovation I have done then and since is to just expect everything will take at least three times longer than you plan for, and cost three times as much, if you are lucky:) Still, the results are always worth it. Great job, Rachel & Emilien!
  • This is the most incredible thing I have ever seen. What a fantastic project and massive effort. So much skill, effort, energy. Can't wait to see more.

I was doing some home renovations and, when I knocked through my bedroom wall, I found a fully furnished hidden room! Then I remembered that I live in a block of flats.
  • @542patriot
I’ve been a contractor for over 20 years and this is one of the most impressive Renovations I have ever encountered! My hat is off to You guys!!
