But DJI has been silent for 3 years since its release and seemed to have forgotten about a potential successor.
They came out with a fleet of incredible drones and other products like the Action 4, Mini 4 Pro, Mavic 3 and Air 3.
But of course they've been working on the Pocket 3 behind the scenes.
And now, about 10 days before it's release on October 25th, we came across the biggest leaks yet.
They show the Marketing Slides that DJI always puts out as soon as a new product is about to hit the shelves.
And you can be sure that they are legit.
The Leaks show that the Pocket 3 will be an absolute cinematic powerhouse of a camera.
It will blow everything else out of proportion.

I changed from the Panasonic G9 to the ZV E1. One week later switched back... Execept from extreme low light, I preferred the Panasonic Image.

3:55 The gimbal camera won’t physically flip. That is impractical. Electronically the recording will access a vertical pixel footprint on the 1” square sensor.

I'm strongly considering waiting for this or just getting a Osmo Action 4 lol

As much as it sounds like it would be cool, the camera cannot gimbal if it is in the vertical position. In the vertical orientation the camera cannot gimbal in the X axis because none of the bearings are oriented that way when it is pointed forward.

Agree on the need for a longer focal length, the Osmo Action 4 it’s amazing in the ultra-wide, if the Pocket 3 only has wide (20-24mm) is not going to be very appealing for us owners of the action 4

you're not going to get a optional extra telephoto lens for this device. it will be too heavy for the gimble motor to name just one reason. I'm sure it's going to be great though. I'm ready to buy it.

The insta360 Link USB Webcam flips vertically (i do all my studio shorts with it). So yes, DJI can’t fail to implement it into the the Osmo Pocket 3

I love my pocket 2, used it a lot for vlogging and other things, would love to get this 3 if the specs are correct. I am not sure it would be good on a drone, haven't used one like that but tried to use my pocket two on a fast ride at Disneyworld and the force in the turns made the gimbal turn to the side. Not sure if you put it in lock mode but then at that point just use your regular action camera? not sure how that would work. I would love to see the pocket 3 compatible with the wireless mic system as I have that, would be great to get two mics on this lol. Replaceable batter would be nice too but doesn't look to be the case, I have to plug mine in with a battery pack often.
