Not sure which version you have but on the album version she only says “they don’t love me like I love you” once when she goes up higher at the end. Live she sings “they don’t love you like I love you” on every chorus.

This has been my karaoke "star song" for years...and for years I've been singing it WRONG because I had no idea the chorus switches to "Wait, they don't love me like I love you" at some point. A life changing revelation. The students bows to the teachers.

Yes, Kelly Clarkson was the first American Idol winner. “Maps” was also used in Rock Band guitar game which helped to increase the song’s reach. “Since You’ve Been Gone” was also a great female anthem which made it fun to dance to and DJs recognized its potential. Great show but would like a female’s perspective sometimes.

I don’t hear the quick “maps” Diallo is talking about. He’s got me confused in all that 35:17 Also, it’s “they don’t love ME like I love you” which I also never knew she said, but Diallo then says “they don’t love ME like THEY love you”??! 36:45 which is not what she says. That’s a whole different meaning… but great content guys … it was a great time to live through
