In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the Spengler family returns to where it all started – the iconic New York City firehouse – to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an army of ghosts that casts a death chill upon the city, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.

Lots of people have already commented on Phoebe and Melody and their relationship but I really enjoyed their scenes together.
The way I see it is that Phoebe misses Egon and the connection she had with him and there she is playing Chess and when Melody appears Phoebe looks disappointed that it's not Egon sat in front of her.
Yes Melody may have been blackmailed into using Phoebe by Garraka but they obviously liked each other as friends and Melody made Phoebe happy.
I bet McKenna and Emily had a great time working together on their scenes.
I thought Lars was brilliant. -
When I first watched this movie and when Phoebe is playing chest and the pieces started moving I thought that was Egon playing

It really felt like melody was just made to be there just to help at the end of the fight with her lighter. Movie was a bit disappointing but nostalgic

This story just felt a bit forced and somewhat unnecessary. I still liked the movie, this whole thing just felt out of place though.
