  • From France, a big 'thank you" for all your efforts and your fantastic work to save this automobile monument. Don't forget that, if you are missing parts, DS enthusiasts have them in stock here.
  • @jagc1969
No useless chatting, no annoying background music, just people working. I like this so much that I had subscribed to your channel.

Best Auto ever made for the average working guy. I had the pleasure of having two of them. A 1958 DS21 Black and White (Comfort, Speed and Dependable).
Also, a 1961 ID 19 Blue and White Engineered way ahead of it's time. I enjoyed them both through the 70's. lost both of them because of rusting out the enclosed tubular frame from salting the roads here in PA. I'm now 82 and enjoyed your video, it brought back so many pleasant thoughts and memories. Citroen is and has been a real car to fall in love with. Driving down the Hi way on 3 wheels always brought a lot of attention and conversations. Thank you and God Bless the work of your hands. Allan

Remise en vie d'un véhicule à l'arret depuis 40 ans c'est du travail et du très bon travail.
    Chapeau messieurs!

Let's have a big applause for Christian and her camera work! Not easy covering all the bases, so well done to her.
  • @jtreg
nicely shot, perfect, no chit-chat, annoying music. I wish more channels would learn this. Great cameraman. Brilliant job guys and a magnificent car to work on too!

Love it, no dumb music, no stupid jokes or talking rubbish, just the interesting stuff, very good.

Citroëns are so rare in the USA, it's nice to see one come back to life after so many years of abandonment, this brave DS / ID deserves a nice restoration especially since it is almost complete 🤩👍
  • @foop8888
It must have been nearly impossible for these two guys to do this without saying anything. I love their banter.😊
  • I'm French and my grandmother had one who was spotless, the main problems was the lack of power steering and that lovely Citroën suspension who cost an harm and a leg when it break down.
I remember her struggling to do maneuvers with this big car as a very small woman and I will never forget the laugh been on the backseat with a suspension who needed to be repaired.
It's an amazing car who could be incredible with discreet comfort and safety updates mod.

Wish these guy would do a full restoration series on this lovely DS…. Great camera work, looked very professional….👍
  • Thank you for this great moment!
My uncles used to have one or two of these. My first driving lessons were in an ID19, on their knees, when I was 7 or 8! Fast cars, I remember one of my uncles showing the speedometer on the A7 freeway, south of Lyon, 180 kmh!!!! No speed limits at that time.

  • Big respect for what you have done so far, not an easy one the DS!
From a French guy who burned his legs sitting in the back seat (faux leather hot as hell wearing short pants in the summer) of his Grand father’s , by the way a Citroen mecanic who knew DSs like the back of his hand and owned several.
    Thank you for the revival!
  • @DanielCurti
I loved the silence, an homage to the most beautiful car ever made. The camera work deserves an applause, really. Thanks guys.
  • @alexalvarez5139
I would like to give these guys 10 million likes. This was the most soothing and relaxing video I’ve ever watched. Can’t wait for my son who is in the army to come back from Germany so we can start wrenching away in my garage.
  • @garysmith2188
Another amazing revival! You guys have to be fearless to take on the DS. My wife is French and appreciates your selection. The DS is the creme-de-la-creme of automotive innovation.
I kind of like the unnarrated episodes because you don't pause and explain everything you're doing. I know by now well enough what you're up to so it flows better. I think you may reach a broader international audience this way, too.
Anyway, much success to you and yours, and merci beaucoup !

At that time the DS19 and ID21 were the best and most original car made in France (with the 2CV in a different class).
So many features that it amazed many foreigners when they saw this very designed or sci-fi car for the first time.
Over 20 years my father had three to five of them; the latest being the all leather hupolstery Pini Farina convertible; that was class.

I never saw a car that was more outstanding in my family history. Buying and driving new cars after that was like going back to the world of "ordinary".

    Great video : no talking.
    Hope you'll restore it completely.
  • I had an id19 back in the seventies which was yellow with an orange coloured roof.Never had a car like it for comfort ,it was like floating on air. This really brings back some happy memories. Thanks you guys.
