Hollow knight Hidden dreams: Revek's Defeat

I can’t be the only one who decided to smack revek with the dream nail without knowing the consequences

Would have been alot more interesting if the frequency of the attacks scaled with number of ghosts eaten

Not sure why people are calling you a monster, you're not killing those ghosts, but releasing them to the afterlife; it's a good thing.

The only one I dream nailed was the one talking about cookies, and that was because I didnt realize it would get rid of them

Honestly I didint feel bad for doing this. Everytime I fought and won against a dream opponent, I felt glad to release them from their prison. Doing this made me feel good despite the moment feeling awful due to the words of Revek.

Why does everyone think revek is a girl? he's literally grunting in a mans voice the whole time. And hollow knight doesn't speak at all.

After you dreamnailed everyone except her, her standing is different too. Before that she looked strong and steady but now..she looks weak

I thought about doing this because I thought it’d be funny, but then I was like, nah, leave the ghosts be. I get the idea behind the dream nail is that it sets ghosts free or whatever, but I think the ghosts like being ghosts, they feel a certain sense of freedom and serenity in resting there as ghosts. So I decided to just leave em be out of respect

I support Count Artorias, the ghosts do not know they're dead, and by dream nailing them you send them on. It's not like you're eating their souls or something. It gives you essence, which is basically their dreams and delusions. It wouldn't make sense otherwise, because you also gain essence from dream nailing trees, fallen bosses and beating dream warriors. You're not absorbing them. Revek just thinks he's protecting them, and when you show him there's no one here, he realizes he's supposed to be dead and you can dreamnail him.

I feel like Undertale was trying to warn us of this, oh well, I wanna see what would happen.

Imagine getting removed from your afterlife, memories gone, your spirit cut and released, your remaining energy, snatched into an ethereal blade……. Then he uses that essence to tp from teachers archives to queens station
