Dude saved his money, pays some child support and seems to be happy with the decisions he made. What's with all the hate?
  • @jamesgraham3116
He's basically saying that he really never lived above his means.

Loved how he said I bought fake jewelry because no one could tell the difference anyway- they would just assume it was real!!! Smart shit right there !!

Chad is dropping gems in this segment. "When you're rich you don't have to buy anything real" (somewhere along those lines)
  • @plantbased5673
"It looks better coming in than going out." Well said, Chad.

Chris Rock said it clearly, "The athlete/entertainer can get rich, but the person writing the cheque is wealthy".

He's not lying! I saw him in the club years ago & I remember how uninterested he looked. Just observing for the most part.

He's saying he's frugal with his money.

I'm not into football or any sports period but I'm into this guy. He is a genius and lives his life the way he wants to. People in general need to follow this way of life.
  • @marlon4509
Wow, this guy has earned my respect. That’s a great mentality to have when you’re making so much money

He seems sincere and worry free. No need for all the bling bling. I perceived a very humble man. God bless him.
  • @slanderman3296
Amazing. I didnt like him when I was young growing up, during his prime. But as a man now whose almost 40, I can appreciate him and how truly humble he is. This is how I want to be, simple.

  • People don't understand his ideology. He has a "broke" mentality so that he won't spend more than what he has too. When I came out of the army I managed to save up 53k in my 3½ year military career after making about 100k. The reason I was able to save half of my earnings was because I lived on base in a tiny barracks room for free and ate for free at the chow hall 3 times a day. I bought a cash car for like 3k. Meanwhile other soldiers wanted to be extravagant and buy themselves 20k-30k cars and get a house off base and go out to eat everyday sometimes 2 or 3 times a day. Also most soldiers went to bars and clubs on the weekends and drank heavily therefore spent lots of money on just partying. I was simple. I stayed on base and found a female soldier here and there or a civilian woman off base that could keep me company. When i came home i had 53k in my account which by no means is a lot of money. 53k won't last but a year or two if you don't have a steady income. So when I came home i still had that "broke" mentality. I remember hanging out with old friends who were truly broke! I mean these guys had a couple hundred dollars in their account and some of them were still asking friends and family for loans just to get by until next week. I guess one day I was in a bragging mood so I showed my friends on my phone how much was in my account. They went crazy! "Pay for my meal", "buy me a drink", "loan me some money". And I always smiled at them and told them, "I can't I'm broke dude". They'd get so mad and show me their accounts with a couple hundred dollars and say, "I'm the one that's broke!". I always explained to them that 53k isn't shit. It could be gone by the end of the year if I didn't take care of it.

Chad Johnson is the man. Apparently he's pretty smart as well. Funny how people's perception is their reality even after hearing or finding out the truth.

key word...  he said he HAD those cars.  obviously he doesn't anymore cause like he said he got tired & bored of that lifestyle..  he's speaking some real shit.  not dodging baby mama tryna collect more cause he already said they handle business themselves.  he's a smart man and knows how to operate professionally and with integrity.  he reminds me of myself.  he's just different.  you can tell how he talks he is and isn't the type to wanna fit into a crowd or go with what everyone else is doing.  I am the exact same way
