I do not own Making Fiends. It is owned by Amy Winfrey and Nickelodeon.

Vendetta replaces Charlotte's mom and dad with lookalikes. Charlotte's parents are hungry for her, but she's just hungry for a little quality time.

I can see the conversation now. Charlotte: Grandma, where are Mommy and Daddy? Charotte's grandma: They're in a better place.... Up there.... Charlotte: Ooh! They're in outer space?! Charlotte's grandma: ....Ah, yes! They're in outer space! They're astronauts!

I never realized until now, but her parents probally aren't astronauts...

when I was smaller I refused to accept the fact her parents weren't in the sky and weren't coming down to see her again

This show had so much petential. I like how it really wasn't afraid to adress touchy subjects.

The song make me want to cry. It's just so sad that Charlotte's parents died, and she's treating the fiends so kindly and that hug she gave them when she thought they were her parents... It makes my heart want to tear out. And when the fiends died, I feel like it represents how Charlotte's parents died. She literally turned around and the next second, they're gone.

When I was Young,I thought They were literary in space then when I got older,I found the hard truth.

This has got to be my favorite episode so far. I mean, I know that Charlotte has made friends with fiends before (It literally says it in the theme song) , but this is just so touching.. The fact that they have not only learned to care for her as a friend, but also as their own, Is just.. so heart warming (I know it goes against my picture but whatevs.). I'm sure whoever took the time to read this LONG comment can agree. I mean, why else would you keep reading?
  • My theory is that Charlotte's parents are actually dead, which is why she lives with her grandmother. And her grandmother told her that her parents were astronauts instead of just coming out and saying they're dead because she's a little girl and couldn't handle it.

It would be funny if Charlotte's real patents came back in an episode and they actually were in space

Vendetta is quite simply... Evil...but instead of outright killing her parents she keeps them around. Her parents also don't seem to be afraid of her like everyone else and you could say their behavior around might not have changed at all. Their is still love somewhere in that black hole called Vendetta's Heart.

2:09 when i heard grandma charlene saying “right..a space station” in that oddly way, my heart was breaking
  • When I was a kid i actually thought they were at a space station and not dead.... Man that is depressing.

The song she sings is so cute, but sad at same time. knowing those are not her parents. and her real ones are dead.

Notice how when they show the picture of Charlotte with her real parents, she looks exactly the same age. Her parents must have died very recently, and maybe that's why her grandma moved her out to Clamburg, so that none of the people in her hometown would tell Charlotte what really happened.
  • Everyone thinks that Charlotte doesn't know that her parents died but I feel like she knows she's probably going through grief for example denial I'm guessing her grandmother told Charlotte how they're up in heaven or the sky and Charlotte was in denial and could be another reason why she's so kind and down to earth and a reason why she doesn't take anything for granted
