They do usually drop the mic. Suga (the guy holding it at the end) secretly swaps his mic for a dummy one so he can drop it while Jin (I think?) taps his mic to create the thud sound.

He didn't drop the mic because they were transitioning to a performance of "Idol", which is a song that totally gets the crowd fired up (and entire stadiums singing "You can't stop me loving myself")

A 54 very proud ARMY here . I've been in so many concerts because I love different genres of music, for example I've been at Bruno Mars, Beyonce, Metallica, The Cure, Backstreet Boys, Cold Play, Taylor Swift , Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Ramnstein, The Weekend, KISS , Depeche Mode and more, I love concerts ,next week I'll be at Bruce Springsteen concert here in Milan (I live here). But believe me, BTS IS THE BEST CONCERT'VE EVER BEEN in my life. I went to their concert in 2019 IN PARIS .THE'RE THE BEST OF THE BEST BY SO FAR. INSANE PERFORMERS. THEIR CONCERT HAS EVERYTHING GROUP PERFORMANCES, SUBUNITS LIKE RAP LINE, VOCAL LINE AND SOLOS PERFORMANCES , MOTIVATIONAL SPEECHES WITH GREAT MESSAGES. I mean, there's everything in their concerts. THEY'RE AMAZING SINGERS, RAPPERS, DANCERS,STORYTELLERS. I'm already saving money for their comeback 2025. Thank you for your reaction.💜💜

As others have said, Yoongi usually does swap for a cheap/dummy mic to drop for one-off televised performances. This was the final show of the tour, at home, in S. Korea's biggest stadium. I suspect that Yoongi didn't swap out for a dummy mic to drop because the timing of the set list wouldn't have allowed for him to get his real mic back in time & seamlessly for the next song. If you look closely, you'll see the mic he's holding out is custom studded with black Swarovski crystals - that's not something you wanna be dropping on the ground.

The vibe from Busan Concert of this song Mic Drop is much better.

If you guys want to see more of the boys' vocals, I highly recommend "Your eyes tell", "The truth Ultold" and "Film out" in the live version, it's a slow songs without choreography and very focused on the vocals. Thanks guys for the reaction 💜

They dropped the mic in most of the performances

For hip hop, I recommend Cyphers 1-4, DDAENG, UGH, Interlude: Shadow, Tear, Intro: Persona. They are solo or rap line BTS songs. There are many more that combine rap and vocal line but these would show you how capable they are. The rap line also have solo works that are amazing but I didn’t want to overwhelm you. 😊

They are all in the military right now. Most did solo projects prior and Jin comes home in June and will do his solo work. They will all be back June 2025. You will like the music video.

BTS is the celebrity of celebrities 😂 Known for their massive talent, versatile discography, crazy work ethic, wholesome bond, in your face hugeeee performances that people wait for, and their u denying love for their fans. And best of all, their golden hearts. Theyre actually good people who just love making music. Theyrw definitely at the top and deserving of that spot 💜

You often hear the lives raps with a change of cadence or pauses in them. Yoongi does this a lot to prove to the haters that they're performing live and not miming. The vocal line sometimes change bits of lyrics live for the same reason. 100% awesone genuine live performances 🤩

They each dropped solo work before going in to the military. They will be back as a group in 2025. They also have solos within BTS. Enjoy BTS More is a great channel for live with correct subs! She works hard for us. This same concert has my favorite live Fake Love. They do a mic drop in their choreo, dropping their wrist if you watch and Suga skipped dropping it at the end of this one for some reason. Tks for more BTS!

Mic Drop is BTS' response to their haters with a little flexing on the side spitting facts...lol. with Suga's epic lines "tasteless ratatouille" & "sue it". I recommend you check their latest live performance of Mic Drop from their Yet To Come Busan concert last October 2022 where it was attended by 70k live audience and was livestreamed by over 50M worldwide causing the apps to crash from time to time....but so worth it. for some performances, they do drop the mike. It depends of the next song really.

They always have a mixture of choreographed and non choreographed parts in their concerts. They also do solo and sub-unit songs. Non-stop adrenaline for a few hours. I recommend watching a medley video where they sing 3 or 4 songs back to back. There are a few but I love the medley of Dope, Baepsae, Fire and Idol at the Love Yourself: Speak Yourself concert at Osaka. Even more impressive than the high adrenaline, intense choreo whilst singing in that they sing in Japanese rather than Korean.

there guys are still in a group. They did solo work while each of the member's were conscripted into the military. In Korea men from18-30 must serve 18-22 months of military service. BTS was no exception. The first member to go in,Jin is the first (next month) to come out. They will be doing a World tour when all members are out.

[6:58 ] BTS are very well still together - well not in their military service - but they can do solo stuff While being together. [12:24] In the MV there is mics dropped and the guy (SUGA) at the end also actually drops the mic this video just cut it out.

they are initially a hiphop group, most of their old song are hiphop then they evolved and almost sing and rap at any genre now. they have both Rap Unit Line and Vocal Line..
