  • Moab got hit on Saturday night and it put down like 2.5 inches in 25 minutes. Flooded a big chunk of town.

As former AZ residents, we never tire of seeing the beauty and danger of the monsoon storms. If anyone is in the area, the washes along the Sonoran Desert Parkway in North Phoenix get wild! Enjoy the SW, Dr. Timmer!

I’ve lived in the southwest for 16 years. This is my second summer in AZ and I never get tired of these monsoons. So beautiful!
  • The wonderful thing about a good monsoon season is the greening of the desert. I just had a nice day drive in the mountains south of Tucson and it was dang near a lush jungle in comparison to the usual brown colors of the drier seasons. Sure, I had to deal with some rough (dried out) washes and some sand on the paved highways, but absolutely worth it.
  • @White.Dove.
I'm really loving this calmer reporting, thank you, Reed Timmer! The emergency is still evident in your presentation but now I can hear every word.
  • @jma181
Incredible! Astonishing to see how the desert landscape changes in seconds
  • 3:28 I really appreciate the oversized mirrored Oakleys - that way we can see the reflection of him rear-ending another car while driving and filming himself with a handheld.
  • @MzVicky
Sorry missed the premiere. I’m here now though. 😄
  • @ospee2004
So that's where all the rain went. It sure isn't in Texas.
  • @Flextape Dr. Timmer needs a new ball cap, he has been working HARD for months and it shows!😍😍
  • @lesshrubb203
Good content and decent photography. Thanks, Reed, you never disappoint.
  • @garywebb4244
My brother and 4 others were killed back in 79 when a flash flood hit the highway at night. They were coming back from Prescott so you all be careful out there.
  • @RandomMoves923
I am so very glad that you folks do these videos to show those natural wonders, to us who live distance away
  • Excellent, EXCELLENT video! Thank you Dr. Reed ... NEVER stop chasing ... be safe! D.🌻
  • @Sacredview
Thank you for showing Flagstaff and the SW some monsoon love
  • I hope all that rain helps out. I imagine it's going to be beautiful in a few weeks when landscapes become green and blooming.
