No doubt about it, the GTC4 Lusso makes a strong case for best all-round Ferrari ever made, and in Tour De France Blue with Cream leather, panoramic sunroof, this week’s #DriveEveryFerrari is just about perfect.

Join us for a full review of this four-wheel-drive, four-seater Ferrari - the design, its features, engine, performance figures, interior comfort and of course a full road test and some Beans!

What are they like to drive in anger? Where does it fit into the history of 4-seater Ferraris? And Is it one for the CarGuys’ garage? All these questions and more will be answered in this week’s episode.

Please note, this review was originally broadcast in 2021, but has been comprehensively updated to be part of the #DriveEveryFerrari series. We wanted the GTC4 Lusso to be part of the series without filming a whole new episode.. If you’ve seen this episode before, we hope you enjoy it. If you have seen it, you may notice and appreciate the changes.

I prefer the Lusso to the Purosangue. I don't understand the thinking of not continuing this model style.
  • @mattylf1
I prefer this to the Purosangue and in that blue it looks like an ideal GT car. That 456 (with the pop up headlights) is a design classic in my opinion.
  • 20 minutes of pure automotive joy! Truly the thinking man's Ferrari - much as I love the F12 and 812 I feel on Britsh roads and with our climate you'd actually use this and get to enjoy it so much more, whilst glorying in the same sonorous V12 powerplant but not perpetually worrying you're going to wind up in a ditch on a slightly greasy surface. I think they look stunning in the flesh (there's one in Bristol wrapped in a satin yellow which (hear me out) looks ruddy fantatsic. It's basically the blueprint for the Purosangue, just lower-slung. The glass roof is an absolute must-have as well. Buy one Damian, now!

Beautiful specification, this and the 991 GT3 touring would make my dream 2 car garage.

I was lucky enough to drive a V12 model a few years ago. While I originally thought the concept of this car was a terrible idea, it turned out to be the most incredible "do it all" car I've ever experienced. Would have one tomorrow if I could.

I have one, I traded my Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio in for a 2018 v12 lusso. I drive it everyday its lovely, fast and thirsty.
  • @stephane_edouard
Please try an FF, they drive better without the rear wheels steer and the hydraulic steering
  • @quitethesnapper
I have one and it is epic. I have a valved exhaust with race cats and a light tune. My favourite Ferrari so far. I have an identical spec Purosangue coming soon. Can't wait to have both Cavalli in my stable. Love the videos, especially this series. Keep them coming please.
  • @4pevans
That definitely should be added to the garage!
  • @paulypoos1
That's better. Great video. That's back to basics for me. Informative, great filming, factual, and it felt more 'passionate' like your early vids.

I have the GTC4 Lusso T which has been fantastic. I bought the T model as ti is lighter and more agile. I didn't want a 4wd Ferrari and the mid range acceleration is phenomenal. I love the V12 but am lucky enough to have an F12. Many thanks for the video.
  • @RedC220
I have an FF, I do around 12,000 miles a year in it. It is outstanding. I did actually fit Lusso back boxes on it to make it quieter in crawling traffic as it was simply anti social with the standard exhaust. I've been in and driven Lusso's and never had the urge to "upgrade" they got it right first time in my opinion. Pan roof is a must though if you're going to use the rear. The steering on an FF is the best in any car I've ever driven. The feel and weight is perfect and it allows you to hustle the car around in a way that doesn't seem possible.

Love these blue exterior Ferraris that have been featured. There have been at least a couple.
  • I'm finally looking for one of these. My girlfriend said it looked like a hearse, so I broke up with her.
  • Has Ferrari fixed the PTU? I've seen/heard lots of complaints about them going bad and costing huge money to replace. Personally I really like the looks, but then I have a thing for "station wagons".
  • @ghostridertom
For me GTC4 Lusso is my favourite Ferrari with "family" edge 🙂. Perfect pair for me with a 458.
  • I am not a Ferrari man but this is the one I would get if I was on the market. One thing though, how come Ferrari use cheap plastic buttons in the interior? I would have thought that in such a pricey and luxurious car one would get metal buttons. Otherwise I love it!
  • @SepelkiviOlavi
Favourite thing of the week so far! Thank you 👏🏻
  • @michaelteret4763
The only 4 seat Ferrari I’d rather have than this one is the 412. Especially in this blue — what a beauty!
  • @steffydog
Absolutely beautiful, inside and out, great colour blue over cream, wow, that the one to have. Love it, thanks guys 🙏👍
