National Park Service (NPS) crews began cleanup of the plaza outside D.C.'s Union Station early Thursday morning - hours after protests over Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's joint address to Congress Wednesday afternoon.

    Yes, burning a flag in protest is legal by right of the first amendment, but defacing public property, historical or not, is a federal offense. Also using symbolism that is tied to a terrorist organization IS an act of terrorism by legal definition.
