  • the fact that u kept calling out that he did good things or made a good attempt, just shows how professional you are Squish. Nor did u give a reaction so props to that
  • @bird_0446
I knew why you stopped streaming but hearing you talk about it is still heart crushing. The fact that people can treat others like shit is terrible. Haters will always be there, stay strong Squishy we love you!
  • @XEra404
You are a class act young man. Don't let other peoples' negativity affect you. If that's what someone wants to be, they have their own problems. You're gonna be in the Rocket League hall of fame. You'll always be my favorite pro. I got my kids psyched watching C9 win, it was awesome!!
  • @cloudkof9164
I'm sure I've said this on another video, but as a dad and a RL fan, I can't say thank you enough for being a great human being. I know I'll be a proud parent if my kids have your mindset in life. Keep it up and go win another chip son!
  • @arrak5000
Remain stoic squish, you’re a good role model for these young kids 💪🏽
  • @stylz8081
following squish for awhile now and am so proud that he was willing to talk about things like this. same thing happens to me. it pushed me from the game and im sure it pushes alot of people from the game. if there was just more positivity it would be great. negativity is contagious and is not good to be around.
  • @TheGlennmiles
Hey Squishy! It is a truly wonderful thing to be vulnerable like that in a public domain, and to tell the world how you're feeling. You have such a big influence on so many people all over the world; and the fact that you made the choice to upload this video and to share things about yourself and your life as a young adult is a wonderful thing. Keep making the world a better place <3
  • @mikluap1
i grow more and more respect for you with every video I watch. You took a shitty situation and not only called him out on his bs, you showed exactly how to respond with stoicism. Your self awareness, maturity and sincere positivity makes this game that much better. Your videos are therapeutic, educational, and inspirational man
  • I’ve never commented on a video before but I feel like I have to now to commend you for your positivity :) You defined rocket league from the instant you started playing and here you are today still positively impacting a community you helped create. Keep up the great work man :)
  • @ShibbyRL
I literally assumed Cam was gonna act like this especially after the first game and thought he was gonna keep losing and lose his mind lol.
  • I used to be toxic and mentally weak and pathetic but that's in the past now. after watching this video till the end. I felt a great deal of pain in my heart as I remembered, I felt so horrible. Definitely for me one of the biggest regrets in life acting like that and I sincerely wish that I could find every single person whom talked ill to and say I'm so sorry.
  • @yusow
Honestly I think it's great that you're taking the time to open your heart and tell us about this, even though for most of us we already know that every person is affected to some degree by the negativity they encounter. As an NRG fan I'm so happy to have a player with such an admirable mentality, and even from our point of view (as an NRG supporter/fan) we come across extremely nasty comments towards you, and even if it's jokes it's hurtful because deep down the negative things are said even in jest. As an esport fan, I find it unhealthy the pressure that is put on players and teams, your journey is admirable (your individual journey, NRG's and all its players are too) and I think everyone would dream of it, but of course you can't stay on top forever, there are ups and downs like everything else in life (it's happened to all teams and players: dignitas, g2, c9, vitality, nrg, bds - turbopolsa, kaydop, violentpanda, you guys from NRG) but that means nothing, your talent is undoubtedly there, I too have hope for you and the team! Sending love ❤️ honestly as a fan of nrg and esport rocket league i would never shoot you for doing "bad" results or anything else, and by the way since as many of you as you, garrett or justin, it's so hard, i'd see it again and yet i'm having a hard time beating ssl to get to the top rank of the game So yes, you have to forgive the pros because you are up against so many formidable teams that to be 6th in NA is already extraordinary. Even if you want to be at the top, and we wish you that too! Love ❤️
  • @wiskidew
This video should be shown to everyone struggling with ranked queue and mental health in any game. What a strong message on how your environment can mold your mental state. Be a positive influence on young gamers!
  • I can tell in your voice at the end of the video squish that what are you saying is genuine and from the heart. I can sense the emotion. I hope people act better so people like you who have notoriety can still live like the rest of us. You don't deserve to be treated that way.
  • @_clorp
Your empathy for the other players, especially the young ones, is super cool. After all the trolls you've dealt with it would have been easy excuse to become more cynical but instead youve become more kind. Big props.
  • @Wolfchant17
I stopped playing because of the toxic community. My temper would always get the better of me, and I would end up behaving no better than them. So good on you for being able to keep yourself so composed. It was just easier for me to remove myself from the situations that would get me so worked up.
  • @hurdlerl-
just so u guys know this is one of the wintraders, he cheats his way up in mmr and stream snipes pros and stuff etc, and then says racist / out of pocket stuff like this. hes been banned on twitch and on many accounts (no its not Ashllxyy the one armed player)
  • @JediKnight988
i love the monolog at the end really shows where your mindset is at. Like you said it's a waste of our energy to give a response to negativity.. too many trolls on rl nowadays looks like they've made it to SSL, probably with bots.
  • @MitchyMadness
Thank you for speaking truth, man. I deal with this daily on Rocket League. At the end of the day we are here to improve and have fun. I remember watching your old games and you’d mute people immediately. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to silence them. The objective for these people is a response, they thrive off of it. It’s pretty lame. I still watch your content, man. You’re a warrior, it’s easier said than done but don’t let these people self reflect their own issues onto you. You’re sick dude, always been helpful to the community and have been a huge inspiration for myself and I’m sure everyone else watching. You’re a real one man. It may sound weird but your videos bring me genuine happiness, I hope to see you around long enough to play you in a game. All love man, that’s all you’ve ever promoted ❤
  • @samautrey3834
Been watching you since the beginning. I have never seen you show this kind of vulnerability, my respect for you has just skyrocketed and you have 100% reinvigorated my fandom in you. Stay squishy
