You may remember that iconic clip of Johan Franzen ripping the mouthguard out of Patrick Kane's mouth and throwing it to the ice. That was ironically in Game 4 of the Western Conference Final back in 2009. So, last night in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Final between the Panthers and Rangers, it was only fitting that we got another example of this! During a scrum, Chris Kreider yanked Matthew Tkachuk's mouthguard from him and then tried to throw it over the glass! This was one of the funniest moments of the 2024 NHL Playoffs undoubtably. Now as for the game, it was the 3rd straight that went to overtime. Once again, the Florida Panthers outplayed the New York Rangers for the majority of the game and yet again, Igor Shesterkin played out of his mind with some fantastic saves! Interestingly, Bobrovsky also now has more points in this series than Chris Kreider... I cover all that and more in todays NHL hockey video!

    It's obvious that the Panthers are a grinding beast of a team, but man, the Rangers don't let up or go away. Both teams are tough as nails.

    As long as Shesterkin is in the net, the Rangers have a chance. If LaFreniere can score four goals a game solo that ought to do it

    That wasn't Shesterkin in net. It was Lundqvist. You can tell because his team didn't show up in front of him, leaving him to do all the work and then some.

    Let's be real, this is a panthers vs igor playoffs, the rangers haven't been showing up like the other teams.

    Both teams are impressive it will come down to the goal tending and both are great. Very close series so far, any team can win it. Just awesome hockey!!! Go Panthers!!!!!

    As a panthers fan, I believe in my team. But it’s a tough, tight series that can go either way. Both goalies are hot, the defense has been solid and the offense is good. It will come down to who will make more mistakes than the other

    Franzen was a beast, I’ll never forget him personally outscoring the Colorado Avalanche 9-8 in a four game sweep !

    This series is going 7 buckle up all for a heart in mouth game 7 at msg and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was decided in OT either. Many many many more highs and lows for both fan bases to go hell of a series so far! These next 3 will be close and on a knife’s edge!!!! Some amazing hockey has been on full display all over the ice not much separating these two teams 3 straight overtime’s. Great for the neutrals but man is this stressful for both of our fan bases!!! Let’s gooooo rangers!!!!!
