Jude Bellingham is cementing himself as the talisman of Real Madrid. With 13 goals so far this season, the 20-year-old is stepping up another level at one of the biggest clubs in the world.
But the Englishman is proving to be far more than the ball winning midfielder he once was. Not only is he the top goalscorer in La Liga, he's also one of the highest through-ball players in Europe.
The Birmingham born Jude is making football look extremely easy across the pitch. With him doing quite literally everything for Carlo Ancelotti, has he invented a new position? JJ Bull tries to define the top player in world football right now.

He's a wide-centre, defensive midstriker.
-
He's effectively a Ruud Gullit regen. Can play literally anywhere (although most effective as a second striker / attacking midfielder), is physically dominant, very high footballing IQ
-
JJ is the perfect person to dive into this topic because anyone else would come across as being insane but he neutralizes the topic with his unhinged demeanor đđœ

âWide defenders who are Actually just Midfielders who arenât quite Good enough jn Midfield to justify playing there really and so it just makes sense having them in Defenseâ Is a wild way of describing Zinchenko đ JJ is evil!
-
âPositions donât matter at allââŠâŠâŠ..I said that to my wife once and she left me

This was unhinged. I like itđđđ Jude broke JJ

This is the most fun Tifo video I've seen in a while. JJ have so much energy, it rivals Bellingham himself.
-
I just think that Real Madrid are set up tacticaly to play with 10 men and Jude is told to do whatever he wants. In that way, it almost feels like they have one player extra and it is very hard to defend against.

Jude Bellingham is playing the same position as Kaka did in Ancelloti's Milan side.
-
He is a space creator, a creative CF; kaka, Thomas muller, Cruyff all come to mind. He is from a very rare breed of players
-
This is exactly the content which made Tifo my favourite channel, and I feel like the channelâs been moving away from this style. Really happy to see these antics again, please keep it going
-
The only roles which really matter are the roles you abandoned on the TIFO Football Podcast. Bring it back.
-
It's the return Carlo Ancelotti's Diamond formation with Jude this time at the tip instead of Kaka as we saw in AC Milan
-
Bellingham's ability to find unoccupied space in penalty area even though every one in the world knows how dangerous he is for me is magic
-
The difference between Bellingham and Zidane, Fabregas, Reus, Gerrard, etc is that he can defend. I remember Walcott wanted to be a #9 at Arsenal as well. When players are young and have a extra lung. They can do everything. As he gets older, he will stick to a traditional position.

Bellingham is an attacking midfielder who has a complete game. If a given player has a complete game, and the coach is smart enough to take advantage, then the player can have a more expansive role. We've seen this with other great players. Credit to Don Carlo for understanding the potential of the player. And football has always been fluid. What has changed is the amount of data that's available.

He is a centre overlapping attacking back forward. Ive seen this position used in pro clubs all the time
-
Its been a while since I've been in awe of an England player. Growing up in the 90s, it goes way back to Becks and Owen. Bellingham has a special Aura
-
JJ's player roles are like classes in some quirky football inspired indie-RPG i love it!

The football gods got tired of us debating over Messi and Ronaldo so they sent us someone with Messi's football IQ and Ronaldo's athleticism to end the GOAT debate in 8 years time.
