Wow this is an amazing reading! A few days ago I wished my ex well but made it clear I'm not interested in a friendship. We have been in a situationship since I attempted to end things in October. It's so hard because other than my family he is all I've got. None of my friends are that significant in my life so I'm now going to be very alone. You are right this situation is absolutely fantastic for him as an avoidant just wanting companionship I'm sure he would have kept this going until we died. I don't know how I'm going to get through it. On a bright note I started a new job in Feb and the opportunities there are huge for me. I see myself becoming a bit of a workaholic this will lead to doubling my income in a year. For a few months I had really fallen - bad habits, not caring about me and just waiting to die. But im questioning this profound sadness, I'm realising my ex was highly manipulative and how damaging he was. I hope all of us start to feel happy and things pick up for us. I know that hardship always brings growth so when we get to the other side we will be ahead ❤
