Ima Survivor Sanctuary has already evacuated their animals including the pigs. They've evacuated the Morrow families smaller animals too & moved the cattle to high ground over the last few days. But its up to Shirtless Jakes backdoor & they're opening gates & cutting fences for any animal that needs it. ISS does have a berm that's higher than Harvey ever was. Everyone is watching & praying for both them & others. Lester will be posting drone footage soon too.

Some folks have no means to evacuate and in that case it's very bad situation .

I hope the residents have flood insurance which most standard policies do not cover. New buyers should never buy a home in a flood plain because you cannot guarantee you'll be high enough.

I can't believe my boss is keeping the restaurant open today. If I get trapped in Kingwood I'm going to be pissed.

If the Cajun Navy is activated it’s going to get bad if not worse.

Seems like they might wanna cut out the chemtrails if they want a few dry days

Texas: "We ain't got no government regulations" allowed unbridled development in these areas without consulting hydrologists who might have warned them this was going to happen. Some of these homes have flooded five times in recent years. Instead of tearing them down, progressively poorer people will move into them and live with the mold and threat of future floods. Here in Albuquerque, we've spent the money on massive flood control projects so when the epic rain comes we are ready for it.

Perhaps if they didn't build sub divisions on swap land that used to soak up excess water. This would not be as bad

If your home is at or below the historical high water mark, you shouldn't be surprised to be flooded more than once.
