I'm a nurse and things like this happen all the time! I had a patient who was newly diagnosed with HIV and was admitted initially for pneumonia. He did not want to tell his sexual partners so they could get tested. The doctors tried to counsel the patient to tell his sexual partners and he declined.

Promise you the marriage would be over whether the baby lived or died. It's not the fact that you cheated on me, but it's the fact that you didn't use any kind of protection at all, came back to me, was intimate with me, and gave me something that could not only kill me but my precious baby too. I'd go for full custody too because this was basically a reckless attempted murder

Doctor patient confidentiality shouldn't matter if it puts others in danger. He's disgusting.... to risk putting a innocent baby through that and to bring disease to other for some out of the country ass is just beyond infuriating.
