Todd's first qualifying pass at Weekend on the Edge ends in a ball of flames when the engine runs away. Todd immediately hits the emergency air shut off valve but it fails to close. The engine quickly accelerates to over 8,200 rpm and ultimately explodes, completely engulfing the truck in flames and leaving behind a mass of metal shrapnel in its wake.

I hope not to marginalize the obvious tragedy here, but PDD has to put this into context. PDD is at the top of the diesel performance game. Wow that's almost like firepunk's engine explosion on the engine dyno. Except that this is in a truck going down the drag strip with a real live driver in it. Glad y'all are ok and can't wait to see the new and improved version
