Emery is one of the best managers in world football. Impressive how he’s managed to transform Villa into a feared side

There’s no doubt Unai Emery is an elite manager and we’re very lucky to have him at our great club. Villa are a true sleeping giant and at long last we seem to have found a manager that has united the club, players and supporters. Together we can do great things, Top 4 might be a stretch this season but don’t be surprised if we manage to sneak in. UTV

Emery’s been given the right to get his own people in above in monchi his own scouts etc clubs basically gave him what he wants and brought into his own club in spains third division. Rightly so aswell lord emery’s a fking genius

I don’t think Unai Emery can keep Aston Villa in the top 4, but 5th place will be an unbelievable achievement, especially as that will probably still be enough for a Champions League spot next season. To answer the actual question: yes, Unai Emery is definitely one of the best managers in the Premier League. When you consider how long he’s been around and what he’s achieved with what he’s had, he might be the best manager in the division apart from Jürgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola. Just because it didn’t work out for him at Arsenal, that doesn’t mean he was a bad coach, and what he’s doing with Aston Villa proves that. Having said that, I wouldn’t trade Mikel Arteta in a million years.

He is literally changing the game before our eyes.
  • Emery is a verygood manager his cv says it all. Im backing villa to win the europa league this season. It will be interesting to see how they cope if they hit an injury crisis in the 2nd half of the season though, would they have the depth to maintain the top 4 push if they lost 4 or 5 of their main players all at once. If they dont have that issue i see them making top 4 easily.

If we had Buendia and Mings fit for the season we would be competing for top 3...we will finish 5th which will still be an unbelievable season

Was impressed by Villa in the first half at St James Park. Very dangerous moves. Doing well without the highly influential Buendia.

Not hard to see how he ranks in the prem - without doubt he is the third best, no argument. Still can’t believe how his time at Arsenal gets talked about as failure, looking at it now he overachieved with them to get them 5th! Maybe one of the top 5/6/7 managers in the world
