you might be a little confused about purple, in the translation is said in the next 40 seconds gojo unlashed hollow purple which is just foreshadowing for the next chapter and what lead to hollow purple being used. It is almost like a mini countdown to hollow purple.

Gojo just continues to show us why he is the goat. The way he is handling Sukuna's power and techniques shows that his limitless is just better. If Mahoraga wasn't a factor, this fight would've probably been over Sukuna knows how dangerous the limitless is.

Kenjaku's roadblock is the six eyes and limitless user in this case Gojo. So he will only show up once Gojo is out of the picture. Maybe the binding vow he has with Sukuna is instantly swapping places once Gojo is defeated or super weakened. Somewhere somehow Gojo has to save his friend Geto's body

I think Sukuna loosing to the other characters showing up makes sense for Gojo's character, with him being "the strongest alone" and all of that him winning by being able to fall back on alies actually resolves the idea that being the strongest is a lonely thing, also the whole "are you the strongest because you're gojo satoru or are you gojo satoru because you're the strongest" thing as well, as he would have defeated "the strongest" (as in sukuna) by being gojo satoru (as in growing the next generation and getting people who love him and want to fight with him and all of that) It also seems to make sense for sukuna who is also lonely because he is the strongest, since he is the villain his philosophy has to be proven wrong so i guess he would lose because instead of wanting to raise everyone to his level he was looking for connection by waiting for a good fight or something like that, or maybe instead of being proven wrong he'd just be dying after getting what he wanted kind of like greed in fma (idk i put less though into this side of the idea haha) It also keeps kenjaku as the final villain, which might be a glod or a bad thing it's hard to tell but unlike sukuna kenjaku is actually trying to raise everyone else, kind of like gojo he wants everyone to go even above his level, we don't know the issue with his philosophy because we don't know much about him yet but i guess it could be a further exploration of similar themes, for the characters to move on afer sukuna.

The hollow purple part was a "a few moments later" thing. I'm guessing Gojo targets Sukuna, Mahoraga tried to take the hit, fails and gets destroyed with a big chunk of the city. and now that sukuna is out of options and injured he will probably use a new technique or something.
