On June 7, 2017, Howard was arrested for Jones' murder. The next day, while in jail, he admitted to strangling the 12-year-old and callously discarding her body over a bridge. His full interrogation leading up to this confession is captured on video. Years later, on August 18, 2021, Howard confessed again to his heinous crimes during the trial, providing sick details of the assault and killing. The interrogation videos offer a rare glimpse into the mind of a convicted child murderer who was ultimately sentenced to life in prison without parole.

I was apart of the search team looking for her, we had a fund raiser at my hookah bar and raised a good amount of money for her family to help with her funeral.. This was definitely a heartbreaking crime committed on a innocent kid
