"The Middle" was one of the most beloved sitcoms of the 2010's, featuring a family comedy with excellent humor and lots of heart. The series centered around the character Axl Heck, played to perfection by Charlie McDermott. McDermott had just a few credits prior to "The Middle," and to hear him tell the tale he barely scored the role as Axl. However, persistence paid off, and "The Middle" ran for 215 episodes, introducing McDermott to millions of fans around the world.     I liked how lived-in their house looked and discussions about being broke and paying bills. Also, it showed them buying fast food after working all day and falling short of perfection like in most sitcoms.

    One of my very favorite shows. Makes me laugh no matter how many times I watch them. Such an unusual show and just written so well.

    The family seemed real. You know people like this. The situations can be real. It reminded me of people I knew growing up. They seemed like the people next door

    This show is hysterical! One of the best family shows ever! The acting from these kids is amazing. I’ve been a fan of Patricia Heaton forever. Watch the reruns all the time.

    Personally, I thought the middle was one of the most true to life middle America sitcoms. I.would burst out in laughter quite often. What a pleasant change to enjoy a show that was not to " sweety sappy" or " political social "... In fact I have since bought all the seasons on DVD so that I can enjoy it whenever I choose, which is quite often. All the actors were AMAZING. I give it 5 stars and wish it had lasted a couple more seasons. LOL.....Brick made me learn a bit about fonts.💗

    My teenage son was very similar to Axle. Boxer shorts, head in the fridge, etc. That's the key to winning the hearts of viewers. Funny, real life type people

    I’ve watched every episode and Axel is a favorite character. But I have to give kudos to the writers. Whoever they are they must have definitely raised kids. Because every episode definitely mirrors my experience raising 3 kids and being middle class. Excellent show.

    I watched all the seasons over and over. I still watch it every night. Literally every night. It is so relatable, funny and it is proof that you don't need nudity to create a good show.
