Halloween Treats for Hippos at Calgary Zoo

Lobi celebrated his 16th birthday, and Halloween, with his grandmother Sparky with a pair of pumpkin treats. The Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo put on the pumpkin bash as part of its annual ZooBoo Halloween event.

Can a male hippo attain a weight of 8 thousand pounds, which would be 4 tonnes? It seems to me that I read this many years ago in the encyclopedia Britannica.

Now me I don't see adult hippos as cute "except for the babies". Because they kill 500people a year. But still this hippos look Gentle.
