The most unrealistic part about this is the fact that the president isn't 102 years old but instead closer to an actual average American.

I always wanted to be a war journalist, after watch this movie i feel my mind would break. The movie its not about civil war but photojournalist and war journalists
  • I’m sorry, I attended an early screening of this (It’s good) but the tone of this trailer is completely off. The actual film is more of a slowburn drama that ends on a big action set piece.

The tone of this trailer is ridiculously off the mark

Everyone needs to see this film. Hence this sarcastic bait n switch trailer. Come together and love thy neighbour. Respect differences of opinion. Agree to disagree. Otherwise this divided country, love, life, and freedom are lost in hell. Gone forever. Make your choices carefully. The future of this nation and your future depend on it.
  • RIP Dickey Betts, thank you for all the beautiful songs, especially this wonderful and transcendant masterwork in classic rock and music in general. Hope all of the other Allman Brothers are jamming in the sky 😔🙏🐦

I like that A24 has always unique logo font for each movie and this one especially is fire.

Absolutely intense and still reeling from this film. If you haven't seen it yet, forget everything you have seen in the trailer. It's not an action flick, there's no "I'll be back" corny tag lines or John Wick fighting off 100 assassins. The violence is absolutely brutal. Just go in with an open mind and no assumptions. The score and battle scenes are mind blowing in the cinema (especially IMAX).
  • My favorite part was when the villain asked “how did you win the war” and the dude was like “I was civil”. Then everyone cried including the villain. Truly a moment.

A film about civil war breaking out being released during an explosive election year is both brilliant and unnerving.

i needed a drink after coming out of the theater. and i don't even drink like that.

People and critics are missing the an important thing about this film that apart from the polarization of the country, Garland is also criticizing the media.
  • @zackyvwasin339
One mis opportunity of this movie is they did not use Chase Holfelder's Star Spangled in minor key as trailer music

“if anything freaks you out, wake me up. It’s not nice being scared alone”
  • @deoodorants
i love war films especially "come and see" and "the zone of interest", and i think this one will be one of my favorites as well
