In this video I unbox the new GoPro Hero 11 Black edition along with two accessories, the bite mount with floaty and the protective housing. Along with the unboxing I also show a few examples of the the GoPro Hero 11 footage in both 10bit and 8bit.

ABOUT THE 10BIT... After viewing the initial footage up close I can tell a pretty big difference with 10bit on and off. One of the first differences is the flat color profile looks a lot more flat in 10bit than in 8. I'm noticing that there is far more dynamic range with the 10bit as well. I haven't yet had a chance to test the difference between the GoPro Hero 10 footage and Hero 11 in 8bit mode to see if there's any difference but I will be making videos on all that soon!

So far, I'm really liking the 10bit mode in flat color with -0.5EV, sharpness set to medium shooting in 5.3k/24 with the linear lens and white balance set to auto (for ease of use).

    Did you check if there are changes in the low light performance with the new sensor?

    I noticed you're shooting wiht -0.5EV exposure compensation. You might want to try turning that back to 0EV, and seeing if it's good without it, as HERO11 has improved exposure control over the previous models.
