There are other things to note: 1: Makarov and Konni had already managed to launch two missiles at the Arklov Military Base. 2: In the Urzikstan map for Warzone, there had already been signs of Konni presence in the area.

I like the backstory they gave Makarov this time around.

Ngl I like how he’s loyal to Barkov instead of Zachaev, he had different ideologies than Zachaev who wanted to return to the Soviet Union and it felt like he was using him even though in Pripyat they showed he was loyal to him, in the reboot it makes sense for him to be with Barkov since they both want to return to the Russian empire and also Makarov used Victor for his own gains

I would like to see "The full story of General Shepherd"
  • @JoshMoney
Makarov team up with Menendez would be crazy

The lack of a soundtrack and scores really made the campaign so much worse. We all remember cod4, mw2, mw3 iconic soundtrack. I don't remember anything from the new trilogy
  • The 141 didn't exist in this time because the mission take place in April but the 2019 campaign was in October. It's SAS and we see Burns in the og mw3.

Its like they wrote this backstory after the campaign to make him seem more of a fleshed out character than he actually is. If he was present at the invasion of Urzikstan you’d think they would have mentioned it during the campaign. Especially since Farah is there you’d think there would be a moment where Makarov reveals to Farah that he was there the whole time which would reasonably piss her off.
  • In my honest opinion, this version of Vladimir Makarov (his personality, skills, and capabilities) in the reboot timeline should be similar to the original version from the original timeline, but much more terrifying, dangerous, and deadlier as "The Devil" himself, like Dante Reyes from "Fast X"; Ernst Stavro Blofeld and Lyutsifer Safin from "Spectre" and "No Time to Die"; and more.
  • Well Makarov didn't die in Mw3 after price and his team didn't shoot him well Mw4 will be the next cod game in next year

Famous quote from ink: he is one of the biggest baddies in call of duty history

I am not 20 years old yet. It's crazy to me to think that Price is older than my dad, and that Makarov is younger than my mother.
  • @DGAMING.1
Well the story of makaron isn’t fully done, as he’s still alive in MW 3
  • @PENSIVE500
You missed the fact he also ordered milena to attack vondel
  • Im 99percent sure that the TF141 didnt exist yet in the Verdansk flashback as it takes place in april and MW1 takes place later in the year around october

7:47 this scene likely Price told Gaz about the story of Makarov because that event was taken place months before mw2019 so Gaz was not there and we never hear him in comms or anything same as Laswell where she didn’t know his name until Price said it
