Best rock show I've ever seen is AC/DC

The fact that he lives a low profile life and hasn't gotten caught up in typical celebrity BS throughout his entire career makes him even more likeable.
  • I just want to say that in my opinion AC/DC hell let's call it a fact they are the greatest rock band in the history of rock and roll because they are so unique with such an original sound I've seen them 10 times at 4 different locations I'm 61 years old and you have given me goose bumps since the 70s if you tour the USA please stop in minnesota and me and my friends will be there rock on gentleman wish I could rock with you

I love Angus Young. I love his down to earth approach to life in his music. I did learn that he gave a lot to charities not surprised, but just didn’t know it. If I could meet anyone in the music industry it would be Angus Young. He is my hero.

First saw AC/DC on BBC's ' Rock goes to College ' series in the late '70's . Blew my mind with the raw powerhouse energy of both music and performance. It was like ..... WTF WAS THAT ?!!!!!!

I know why they sold so many Back in Black albums. Us kids had to buy four. Mom would break them over and over. That Devil music. Lolol. We rebellious kids? Best memories ❤❤❤

They sure had a big impact on my life! I remember thinking once that usually when i hear an album from an artist, it's like 2-3 songs you really like and the rest of the album can be like meh.. I can't think of an ACDC song I did not like! Listening thru their albums for the first time, i was like WOW amazing song, the next song, same feeling! Hard to say you have favorite songs with ACDC since all their songs are pretty great! TNT, Giving the dog a bone! Moneytalks, Riff Raff, Stiff Upper lip, Cyberspace, Safe in new york city, Back in black, thunderstruck, All screwed up, Dirty Deeds done dirt cheap, Big balls, Can't stand still, Come and get it, Damned, dog eat dog, Fly on the wall, givin the dog a bone, have a drink on me, Hells bells, High Voltage, Highway to hell, house of jazz, its a long way to the top ( if you wanna rock n roll ), Meltdown, Money shots, Problem child, Satellite blues, she got balls, who made who and YOU SHOOK ME AAAAL NIGHT LONG!!! Those are all equally my favorite songs, but i still loved all the other songs too, but mainly these songs that I mentioned has given me memories, and made me feel on feelings which left a mark in my life as a memory that i can relate to every time I hear their songs! I remember how i used to ride my scooter/moped while listening to Stiff upper lip and Meltdown and when Angus came in with his iconic solos I could not sit still on that moped seat lol, people that saw me had to think I was nuts, i jumped up and down with my rare end from the seat in beat with the music lol! GREAT band! Also get annoyed when people say that ACDC is easy to play and that people who only knows to play ACDC songs have low guitar skills lol! Yes their songs are not super complex, but simple and their songs rock! Also saying that playing acdc is easy is actually not true. Many people that will show off that they know thunderstruck for instance, did like I did for many years, tapping the part Angus is playing, but guess what... he PICKS every note, even the pull offs gets picked, and it's not easy unless you are handy with alternate picking! The band is tight, and if you know how to play their songs, you are NOT a low skilled or mediocre guitarist, and if you DO know all their songs, you probably know how to play other songs too, so this "hope you know how to play something else than just ACDC" First off, it's not JUST ACDC.. its ACDC!!!! second off, never meet anyone in my life that knows how to play ACDC perfectly but can't play anything else lol!
  • I'm 52 my brother introduced me to these guy's when i was 13. They influenced me as much as SRV has as far as music is concerned. But just two weeks ago I got new info on the great Bon Scott that shocked me to my core. Bon will always be my favorite male singer that being said he also sang a song long ago that l heard as a child. Build me up buttercup is also a Bon tune yes he was a backup singer but still. Anyone else already know this?

We played Over Dosed On You and as fare as I know back in the 70s we were the only band around Tennessee that played ACDC. Little did I know Angus and I were born days apart. I also played lead guitar.

I didn’t realize he’s that old . Well his wife has good head on her shoulders and to be together 50 years now, wow. Where they have their houses can be reached within 12 hours on a fight on an Airbus A-380 or private jet. He has earned everything he’s got the hard way through hard work. Being on the road no matter your occupation is hard, no doubt about it. I’m kinda surprised that he’s Camaro has an automatic rather then the close ratio Muncie 4 speed but the car looks great.
