Total War: Warhammer 3 BUG / Game Crash - Nurgle Daemon Prince - The Gardener

This happens when I try to use the "Replenishments" or "Upgrades" - abilities in the survival battle against the Nurgle Daemon Prince - the Gardener. The game freezes for a couple of seconds and then crashes without any error message. Happens every time. I haven't had any other issues with the game before this, so I think it's a bug.
Does anyone know what could cause it?
