That was a great hunt n great effort !! Especially in follow thru to locate your animal !! People should NOT add Sarcastic comments about a person's choice of hunting methods .. Bad enough All the Slack hunters get in general when in Reality Hunters care n do more for Nature n Wildlife than 90% of those condemning it !! Stay safe 😎

Nice job! looks like a really cool hunt. As to those who complain about using a crossbow, grow up! They are legal and useful tools for hunting. I shoot both compounds and crossbows, depending on how I am hunting. These same people who complain about a crossbow have no problem at all picking up a rifle and using that when gun season starts. Congrats again on your deer!

Shot a doe this year. Same deal. Notjing on arrow but i heard the arrow inpact. No blood for 30 yds then she opemed up. Found her 40 yds later. I knew you hit that deer just seeing the shot. Thabks for thr video. Awesome adventure.

Nice hunt, reminds me of the central Wisconsin river bottoms I hunt. PS: be extra carful with your kayak in water with thin ice around it, we lost a friend who was duck hunting in similar water conditions, if you flip you cannot swim through that thin ice.

People really hate on crossbow hunters!! Great harvest! Sometimes we miss the mark, but you stuck with it and found your quarry! Also, if you didn’t have a GoPro to film, there would be no footage to share. So keep hunting, keep filming, and keep eating!! The internet is full of people who use a hotspot for their internet to watch from their cell phones and eat microwave dinners. Lol. Stay positive!!
