1-Have good chew toys 2-Have toys in hand when going to puppy 3-A stong yelp or ouch when biting 4- Play without touching puppy (Play gently when playing tug and war etc for fear of losing baby teeth) 5-Rotate toys every few days 6- Supervise you puppy 7- Exercise 5 min x puppy age in months 8- Watch body posture (Sit on chair while playing) 9- 3 strikes and then out put in crate to help calm down 10- NEVER Play "I'm going too get you" Last resort= Pet correcter. Do not use on sound sensitive puppies or puppies with ear problems.

This lady totally looks like pam from the office
  • This is the most comprehensive video I've seen regarding puppy biting.

I’m a widow, and a senior citizen too.. lol, so being gifted a new puppy (I agreed to it), has been challenging to say the least. I’ve watched some really great trainers, and you are most definitely in my top two! I’ve had my 4 month old cockapoo for 2 months. I’ve been able to train her in several areas, and though the biting isn’t as bad, it’s still too much. This video helped make several things more clear to me. The good thing about being retired, is that I have much more time with her, to train and teach her. She obeys very well for being just four months old..but I know the nipping and biting will go on for quite a while yet. I appreciate that you don’t only tell us how to do these things, but you also explain why, from a puppy’s perspective and their instincts. So thank you for this very thorough video!!

I love how you explain things so the audience really understands what to do. There's definitely things I need to work on or change from watching this video, so thank you. My little pup is a real land shark and he hurts...time to put these tips into practice :)

We have a 13 weeks old aussie. She's a handful. And our first dog. These videos are helping because I don't know what I'm doing!
  • Hmmm... I've been approaching this wrong. Good thing I found this before bad habits were too developed. I've had my puppy for a week, and some things are going very well while others are tougher. Biting is one of the things that has been tough, but this will help.

I tried some of your techniques and have seen some quick results. I simply clap my hand loudly for distraction and redirect to a toy. After much repetition and praise it seems to be working. Thank you.

Thank you. We have watched many dog videos and getting a puppy but your style and easy to understand manner is great. Plus no overpromotion. Thanks for helping js
  • The yelling is what's helping me the most, I think my neighbours might think I'm crazy, but it truly helps
  • @relaxmydog
This is SO helpful, thanks so much for sharing this!
  • I am a new puppy mom of two 8wk old Chi/Maltese. I’m trying SO hard. I messed up the first two weeks and now they NEED to be together or they will cry for HOURS without letting up. Now that I’m on track with your videos, I feel a bit more confident. Thank you so much!

  • @bex_lynne
Thank you for your thoroughness in all of your videos!! Such a HUGE help for this brand new puppy mom.
  • I once had a friend, 6ft tall... but due to land sharks, he's now 5ft tall.
  • You are the best trainer, I have so far seen. I have a trainer on board, so much stuff on line, you have taught me the most to utilise with my puppy. Thank you!
