Fears attack on Israeli-occupied Golan Heights could spark all-out war

There are fears an attack on the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights could spark an all-out war after 12 children from the Druze community were killed in the airstrike.

Israel’s military says it has attacked multiple sites deep inside Lebanon, while Hezbollah says it attacked an Israeli Kibbutz.

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has cut short a trip to the United States to convene a meeting of his security council.

  • It is not occupied territory; Israel reclaimed it after the Syrians attacked them in 1967, then again 1973.

It is within the legal recognized sovereign borders of Israel. It is not “occupied”!

Israeli-occupied Golan Heights? Since when are the Heights Israeli occupied?
  • "Israeli-occupied Golan Heights" -- well that exposes your bias. What's your problem with Israel occupying their own territory?

It's a shame to see your channel refer to the Golan Heights as ""Israeli occupied". Syria paid their price for their losing of the war they instigated against Israel. For thousands of years, the "Spoils of War" belong to the victor of said war. The Golan heights belong to Israel, not Syria, regardless what the UN says; if they followed that doctrine, all the land taken by the Soviet Union after WWII would not belong to Russia/Soviet Union. You people really should look at history before accepting what the UN says about anything. Lets see what happens when Trump takes over and removes the US from the UN. It's something that should have happened many years ago. It didn't because Obama, and now Biden have no backbone. One look at the middle east now compared to when Trump was in office should explain, rather succinctly, the reality of the situation.

Not Syrian territory. This land was given to Israel by the One True Living God.

The comment section is crazy. How people are trying to justify the Golan Heights as Israel entitlement
  • @gamalieli
Stop calling historic parts of Israel "occupied". You are occupying Australia. Give Australia back to the aborigines. The Golan Heights is Bashan which was part of Biblical Israel. The occupiers were the Syrians.
  • He returned early because of all the chaos and probably afraid for his life

WTF! Golan is NOT occupied...its ALL Israeli land.
  • Israeli president said there's no uninvolved civilians in Gaza Israeli finance minister said that returning the hostages is not the priority Israeli prime minister said in 2019 that funding hamas is his strategy It was never about eliminating hamas nor returning the hostages it's just political survival,  land grab and meaningless revenge
