The new Sony SRS XV800 aims to be your one & only speaker, with big sound, karaoke, color LEDs, and tons of features. Here are my thoughts on this speaker.

This speaker was sent to me at no cost from Sony. That did not affect my opinion in any way. I cover both pros and cons in this video.

Great review and video. Thanks for showcasing this really cool speaker. I would def consider this for the man cave.
  • everyone who's going to get this speaker is going get it for it's loudness and bass.

I got the XP500s (x2) on a deal for $200 each. $400 pr for stereo that will sound much much better at a little more than half the cost. Get a optical converter for a few extra bucks with an elevated speaker stand system and you have the best of β€œfeatures” that will elevate any party up to 25 people just fine. After that, ya better dig deeper and go for JBLs - Party of 75-150 ish , go for the JBL 1000s!!!

Awsome speaker. I like all the different options it has. The only downside is the price. But other than that it's great.

older sony like early 00s 90s where the best when it comes to sound quality. but people nowadays only cares about the loudness, more bass and lights. more lights the better.

I got this because I was offered a super good discount ($250) on it and otherwise wouldn't have got a party speaker. I just wanted a bluetooth speaker at home. It's actually a really nice bluetooth speaker for the home (though pretty large of course). I just keep it at 10-15% volume and the sound is very pure and the base is so smooth and well defined. I can't stress enough how pleasing the bass is. With the battery life and all the other options it is super versatile and just feels like a really good product.
