Well I have this same ps3 super slim cech 4201a model and it stopped spinning disc's then I replaced the whole drive assembly with new one bought from china aliexpress installed it and now it spins and then stops then spins and stops. The laser light both red and blue are visible, what could be the reason?

Hey so i just wanna make sure of something. My ps3 won't spin discs, and i'm not sure that it's a lens problem. The brake doesn't stop the disc and all the cables are in place. It makes 2 quiet noises but no spinning at all, can you help me out? I don't wanna buy anything with the possibility that it wasn't the problem XD

Hey my ps4 model chu-1115A wont pull in discs, spin discs what can i do to fix it it also wont update to 7.0 because of the bluray drive if you have a fix please let me know i have all the tools just not a spare drive
