How to Make a Crazy Drift Kart • 350 Watt

Published 2023-12-10
Hi folks, in this video, I want to show you how I made myself a very fun card to use for this purpose I decided to spend as legal as possible and try to keep the cost very low
For this drift card, I use the motor and electric one from an electric scooter. I also recycle all the electronics from it so I’m talking about the lithium ion battery. I also recycled the motherboard of the electric scooter itself, the gas lever and also the electric brake system, and I start to build the frame for this drift card.
For this dirt I started taking two stainless steel frame from kitchen chairs. I weld them together, and I have the main frame of the cart itself.
For me, it is very important to have everything as compact as possible so that I can transport it easily so we have a total length of hundred centimeters almost
Now, time to think about the back wheels in this case are very small wheels very similar to one you can find from shopping cart
Hi, Dan took a metal structure so I can mount the wheels on top and this structure can swivel on itself. Thanks to hinges.
These hinges can be moved using a very strong lever with it. I can change the angle of the wheels itself when they are perfectly straight. They can move freely and swivel at 360° on themselves.
But when there are places at an angle around 20 or 30°, everything changed, they stop swiveling, and they keep track and direction of the car itself
We can use the lever to decide how much grief we want while we are driving
Everything was so easy to build. I just use my welding machine and a drill to make couple holes, but overall was a very simple project and a very good idea to make yourself at home. Very fun project to use with kids as well.
But for me is a very nice project even for adults
I am using this card almost every weekend with my friends and was so much fun seeing everybody enjoying it

I did exactly the same thing and for the frame I used the bottom of a shopping cart with the four wheels, it made me gain some time; The main difference was that I didn't made the clever lever you made to change the inclination of the rear wheels !

So glad to see you're still uploading! you always had the coolest DIY projects. Sad to hear about the old channel. I used to watch all your videos but then youtube unsubscribed me for some reason and i completely forgot about your page [sorry :(] Its been a few years but i remembered you today but couldn't remember the name of the channel. I found you again by googling 'italian diy channel' and searching a bit, so glad i found you again and now i have many videos to binge watch :) I hope this channel takes off and surpasses the old one. ciao ciao!
