I do like chicken jockeys though. They're really useful in Skyblock. :) Without Baby Zombies, they wouldn't exist.

i was surprised with how much people wanted a baby zombie, and it makes me wonder: if we had mob votes back in the day, would this have been the first ever "big" drama of the game?

They're the little devils that put you in danger in early game and when you're noob they're basically hell. Pretty good video Xay, it was very funny and entertaining.

Other players when you die to any other mob: "Woah what a noob, couldn't be me 💀" Other players when you die to a baby zombie: "Yeah I get it, baby zombies are the worst 😔" Baby mobs in Minecraft have always confused me, mainly the fact that they have the same HP and stats as their adult versions despite being significantly smaller, but I mean, that's far from the only confusing thing about Minecraft mob HP (Bees, Silverfish, and Endermites having far more HP than chickens or rabbits despite being of a similar size). I guess it adds to the challenge, but, still, it's bizzare. It also bothers me that baby zombie villagers have big heads when normal baby villagers (in Java edition) have heads proportionately sized to their bodies like normal villagers.

I do remember there being a time were baby zombies was threatening. But honestly you kinda forget about them until you see them.

I wonder if mojang will ever balance other mobs to work with sprinting in mind. Mob walkspeed and damage was originally tuned with normal player walkspeed as the base. When sprinting was added it just made everything so unbelievably easy to avoid. If you've played versions before the adventure update (b1.8), you can definitely see how mobs are much scarier to go against, most likely because you don't have a Pokémon flee button that works 100% of the time on hand Sort of an unpopular opinion but as a progression guy, I would much rather for sprint to be an ability of sorts that you work for instead of being handed to you automatically. Does it make sense at all? No. Does it matter? Also no

For anyone who didnt get to experience the baby zombie when it was immune to sunlight, you have no clue how much a fucking pain in the ass those things were. They ended probably millions of hardcore worlds and resulted in even more survival deaths. They ran as fast as you could sprint jump, could fit through one-block gaps, and once one started chasing you there was no escape. They were perfectly capable of sitting outside your house for days waiting for you to emerge. You had to kill it or die trying.

As a programmer, I can concibe how is even possible to add that line of IN ACCIDENT, I mean, how can you add that line of code and think that baby zombies will keep getting on fire?

The baby zombie, I still remember when it finally got added in Minecraft PE, I didn't have idea because it was such a major update, xp, enchantments, hunger, running, crouching, nether, potions, commands, anvils, etc. When I started playing I was so focused on not starving and leveling up that when I saw tiny zombies running around like crazy I got so scared, running was new for me and touch controls sucked, said nope and went to sleep only to find myself horrified in the morning when they were still running. Maybe Mojang could do some parity and make baby zombies like bedrock, some of them can climb onto EVERYTHING, they ride adult zombies, cows, sheeps and wolfs, without sweeping edge you can't kill those tiny bastards cause as soon as you kill their "horse" they ride any other one that's close by. I swear I'm still scared of them sometimes.
