Brie Larson Wins Best Actress | 88th Oscars (2016)

Hate Captain Marvel or not, Room is a fantastic movie and she delivered a masterclass act. Well deserved.

The only actual reason why people hated Brie is because the internet told them to do so. Jumping on the bandwagon at it's finest.

imagine being judged for a dry sense of humor and a few sarcastic comments here and there... I would probably be sent straight to hell then.... we all often forget that celebrities are human beings with parents, sisters and friends and bad past experiences and bad moods, only difference is they just have cameras on them 24/7.

Finally i found a place where no one is hating her..😭

Can we talk about how nice she was to hug and high five that little kid????

It was her First oscar and first nomination and she won!

people hating on her for no or for stupid reasons , her performance in room was on another level and she deserves the oscar

She was virtually unknown amidst more famous nominees. This was also her first nomination and she managed to beat all. What an acheivement! And a brilliant role too..

If you hate her performance in captain marvel. Fine. But unless you've actually watched Room the movie she won her Oscar for then don't comment that she has no talent or didn't deserve to win this

Brie Larson is unequivocally one of the finest actresses of her generation, this woman's range is just inexplicable, from sassy, sardonic, pompous characters in Scott Pilgrim vs The World and United States of Tara to tender, fragile and yet steely characters in Short Term 12, Room, The Glass Castle and Just Mercy to the iconic Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame, this woman can do no wrong. Simply one of the best, i hope she gets more Oscar nominations, coz she's the last person you would think will forver be one time winner and nominee

I like how Jennifer Lawrence actually said it out loud in an interview that she thought she didn’t deserve the oscars for joy and that Brie did. Respect. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Brie larson doesn't deserve the hate, she's just awkward at having a sense of humor and people hate her for that :/
