It took me 4 attempts to clear this place. I was lvl 52 on the 4th attempt and was still using gear from the last lvl cap. Took me 35 minutes to clear out the place. Almost ran out of ammo and lost 2 pals. Approaching by water during the night really helped with getting in safely.

Heres a tip, the lasers shoot at ANY flyer. Best way to avoid lasers is to just swim as it will not shoot at you. Ive been usually taking a jormuntide up to the ladders. Its slower but by far more safer

technically speaking: jetragon is the most efficient way to get onto oil rig. otherwise you can just use any mountable water pal to swim there, climb the pillar and grapple up

Clearly the Rayne syndicate bought those turrets from the academy for becoming a stormtrooper.

Large chest hasnt spawned once for me an i went here twice searched all 4 spots and the rest of the rig for 1hour each time and nothing idk whats going on

gotta say the strat to use jetragon to get on is interesting but it leaves very little flexibility for different entry point. if you use a water mount like jormuntide instead you no longer have to worry about the laser and you can so some quick scouting for the big chest without alerting anyone. there is 2 spot the chest can spawn that are visible from the water level using the blue glow the chest emits. the first that is visible is the one in the tent closest to the teleport point the glow will appear when you get close enough that everything else appears if it's there. the second you can spot is the one all the way in the back if it's there you will see a glow on the furthest corner pillar toward the inside. be careful however to not go under the platform with your mount since that can sett off the alert the bridge between the platform seems to be fine though. then you can go up the nearby stairs and see if it is the big room before reaching the top of said stairs from view you get from the hole in the floor. you also missed a lot of smaller chest which can give pretty solid amount of crude oil and other schematics. the first is in a bin in the alley behind the blue container that can have the big chest. the second is all the way in the back of the section behind the big tower with lots of turrets it's slightly hidden and guarded by a hunter. the third is guarded by a crusher on the bridge between the 2 main section but can be obtain through the wall from the back without triggering him. the forth is on the top floor of the section you are in at 11:40 in the back corner with a guard that frequently comes after you before you reach it. the fifth is in a container at the end of the bridge you look at at 13:17 it has no guard and can be take though the wall of the container like the other. the sixth one is trickier since it sits right at the top of the big tower in the middle so you will most likely need to take down all the laser turret along the way to be able to fly to it or climb up in some other way. on the plus side if you take down all the laser turret you can easily fly out.

A trick I used was flying up high, and gliding after jumping off my pal before reaching the laser shooting distance. The max glider with 300 speed helps a lot with that

One rocket from a legendary rocket launcher or even a basic one one shots literally everything on the rig. Damage range: 10k-24k per shot

Some more tricks: you can get the guys grouped up around the orange barrels or the big red tanks, then shoot the tank/barrel, that's almost always an insta kill. There are quite a few guards that spawn next to barrels and tanks and you can take them out just by shooting the explosives. Also if you have low level pals that you want to level up fast the level 55 guards give crazy xp. close to 45k per kill, which is applied to your whole party. i've found that you can run the whole oil rig(killing all the guards) and get lvl47 on all the pals in your party starting at level 1. I use azurobe w/ swift to get out to the oil rig as it is undetected. and a legendary rocket launcher makes taking out the guards a breeze. it one hits most of them, and can do damage through walls, and you can usually take out multiple guards with one rocket if you get them grouped up.

The lazers will only target airborn pals, so any Pal used that isn't flying, be it Azurobe (which I think is the best choice), a non-airborn Frostallion, or even something like a Direhowl won't trigger them.

I found out the hard way that you can be killed while using the homeward thundercloud during the warmup animation sequence, so be sure to be out of sight when using it.

I love using grenades, for these groups, takes seconds, grenades underrated in palworld

I went to the rig using my felaris first and got hit with the laser, used my surfent for the next ride and I was able to reach the rig without issues, but all the thugs are lvl 55 and fucked me up in one shot, I am level 49 for your reference

If you have a legendary rocket launcher you can finish the oil rig at lvl 50 and best part is that your pals and you will lvl up like crazy.
