My goodness after watching this I was way to hard on my 18 week puppy and wondering why the walks were frustrating. I did the training in this video and it was WORLDS better!! I stopped focusing on the destination of the walk and more on the loose leash and us sticking together. Did lots of circles in the driveway đ

Joel: âI wanna let her know Iâm a place of treats.â two seconds later Also Joel: âMy gosh. Itâs the longest chewing of a treat Iâve ever seen. Maybe Iâm not gonna give her treats cause that took way too long.â This guy is too funny. Thanks for the puppy videos. Keep them coming!

Thanks, more puppy training videos please, Joel!

Thank you so much for addressing puppy training, Joel! We old folks need all the help we can get!

WOW!!! I tried this with my very strong 4 month old lab/pit mix and itâs WORKING!!! She needs constant reminders but thatâs fine, I know sheâs a puppy! Iâm just happy sheâs no longer threatening to pull my arm out of its socket! Sheâs even starting to respond to me when I call her away from stimuli. Iâm floored. Thank you Joel!!!

Yesss!! Finally a puppy video! I have a 4 month old lab and dealing with pulling. Thanks for showing me what to do and what to expect from him!

Ok, Loopy is the cutest puppy on the planet, lol. Love your methods! Theyâre so effective! My Great Dane puppy is responding beautifully to everything Iâve been learning from you!

Your videos have helped me so much. I have a 2yo Boxer Mix and an 8mo Lab Mix. I have just started walking them together. The Boxer is awesome. The puppy pulls constantly and is all over the place. When the pup and I walk alone he does much better. I have been working with him for awhile on keeping the leash loose by pulling back on the leash everytime he tightens it up. Your video reminded me that he is still young and I need to be patient with him. Thank you for your amazing videos. Training a dog can be overwhelming. Without your videos I would have no clue. So thank you. Your training methods are the best I have seen on YouTube.

Thank you for making a specific video acknowledging the range of leash corrections, dependent on the different ages in dogs.

I agree that these puppy videos are great and has enabled me to lower my expectations of my 3 month old non-littermate boxers and enjoy this stage more. It would be helpful for those of us with two puppies to get some advice on how to get puppies to stop fighting/wrestling so much. When they are out of their crate together, they spend 90% of their time in vigorous (non-aggressive) fighting. They are oblivious to anything else going on around them. They feed off each otherâs energy. On the other hand when they are out alone, they are very sweet calm puppies.

This is exactly what I was looking for Joel. Thank you. I was getting so frustrated with the âlook at meâ then give a treat on walks. I found that my pup only learned the cycle of how to get a treat with no improvement at all in the pulling. The release of pressure as a reward is also the foundation of horse training.

Wow, I'm impressed! Really like how this guy teaches. The best trainer I've seen on YouTube so far. Thanks all the way from Quebec City, Canada.

Out of the all the videos Iâve watched, this one was the best.
-
Great video! You always have a great way of presenting and demonstrating your concepts.

At what age do you switch to your other leash reactive method for correct pulling on the leash? Your videos are so helpful with our 5 month old puppy, thank you!!
