  • This song slowly embraces you, gently lifts you up, beats the living hell out of you, then lightly places you back to where it found you but you aren’t the same anymore

Imagine growing up when this music was THE music and just taking it for granted. We were so lucky.
  • @annebryant7450
I saw them in 1973 and when they did this song people 3 miles from the stadium complained about the noise!! I'm now 70 and have tinnitus. SO worth it!
  • youve just listened to one of the seven wonders of the world ... Led Zeppelin, the stars were aligned when these four got together
  • @UncleSpellbinder
I'm 59 years old and can remember hearing this for the first time. Seeing someone in 2023 getting the same joy warms my heart. One of the greatest rock songs EVER recorded.

I'm 67 and this was the music of my youth. How privileged I was to grow up in a time of superbands and real music played on real instruments. So glad people of today can still enjoy these timeless classics.

They honored Led Zeppelin at the Kennedy Center and HEART did a cover of this song … you think your hair stood up listening to this… wait till you hear and watch that! Totally Amazing 🤩

Imagine your 17 years old and your first concert is LedZepplin in Atlanta at Atlanta Stadium in 1973. I was blown away.
  • First time I heard this I was in my room alone. Sat on the floor and just listened. By the end I had tears running down my face. This is my generation's classical music. It will never die.
  • I'm 74 now and all alone. My baby brother passed away 2 months ago at 67. His band in the 70s was called starway! And they played this song at the end of his funeral. I still cry. Please pray

At 70, I may be old, but we saw all the best bands😄 My generation has songs that will survive the ages.🎸

My Dad named me after Jimmy Page. I'm 38 and I grew up on Zepp. Best times of my life were sitting on the floor listening to my Dads Zepp records with him. Miss ya Dad ❤️

I'm a 75 year old lady and this was our music... all the time... so now you see what we REALLY miss. Great to see your reactions!!!

This is what happens when the best vocalist, guitarist, bassist and drummer get together.

I’m 66 and our junior prom was based on this song. The gym was amazing, castles, stairways leading to the ceiling, into clouds and heaven. When the band finally played this song we all sang along. It was awesome. We had special lighting and strobes. Best memory ever. The stuff they call music today doesn’t even touch the talent demonstrated here. The music today is created to sell, be popular and nothing more. The music from our era was created to touch souls and it changed us. It changes whoever hears it.

If anyone tries to tell me that today’s music is in the same category as LedZeppelin, come up for air guys, this is on a different level ❤❤❤

My junior year in high school (1980) a friend was killed in a car accident. His younger brother played this song at his funeral. Shortly after his brother hit “play”, while the mellow opening is still playing softly, some adult goes over and turns the volume WAY UP! We all just smiled at each other knowing what was coming!! By the end the windows in the little chapel were literally shaking! (no way, at this point, was anyone going to walk over and turn it back down). It was PERFECT, and if there is a heaven, my friend was there laughing his ass off!!!!!

There is a reason this is the number 1 song of all time to so many people. I cry every time I listen to it.
